They are both worried that Piper (who has been gone for a month) isn't going to come back. As they walk downstairs they get a fax and a phone call from Darryl. He is tracking a murderer who carves 'ruins' in his victims foreheads. The girls find out that it is not actually the guy but a guardian who is protected by the victim. As Darryl follows the man he is knocked out. Just as the killer is about to carve the ruin in Darryl's head, a girl sees them and screams. The killer kills her instead. Phoebe and Prue arrive in just enough time to save Darryl and vanquish the Guardian by throwing a knife at the ruin on his head. The girls have to testify in court to put the killer away. They have to lie and say they dont know any thing about the weapon. Here we meet Cole the DA lawyer. He is trying to put away the killer but because they cant find the murder weapon he is set free. Back at home, Piper and Leo come back. They arguing and Piper leaves. She tells Prue that she didn't know she was gone that long and that "they" don't want Leo and Piper to be together. (OK to the main points)- Leo asks Piper to marry him, The girls go to the courthouse to stop the killer and Phoebe can levitate (she finally got an active power) and Cole doesn't freeze but the girls dont know. So he is either bad or good. In the end the Barenaked Ladies play and Piper tells Leo that she would love to marry him.
"Magic Hour" As Piper sits in a hair studio she sees a whole bunch of wedding things and it makes her very sad. At home Phoebe and Prue are arguing over who the maid of honor will be. Phoebe also is making glasses for the eclipse. Piper gets home and Leo orbs in. He brings bad news because 'they' want to know whether or not Leo and Piper are staying together. Leo and Piper decide they need to pull the wedding off by tomorrow night. At the front door Kit is playing with an owl. The owl changes into a naked guy. He says that he doesn't need help and talks about his boss that cursed him. As he talk a wolf watches him. At the book store, Phoebe and Piper run in to Cole. He switches books with them using some kind of magic. Christopher (owl guy) tries to kill his boss but is unsuccessful. Later, Piper finds some info in the Book of Shadows on "Handfasting" a ritual like a wedding. Phoebe gets upset because Piper is going to break the rules and she doesn't care. Phoebe has a premonition of Christopher and a wolf. They go to the woods and Christopher and the wolf go in to a shack. As the sun rises, the wolf turns into a girl and Christopher turns into an owl. Brooke (wolf girl) tells the sisters that her boss cursed her and Christopher because she wouldn't fall in love with him. The curse will not end until a night within a day or until she falls in love with her boss. Piper tells Phoebe that she wont get married unless both her and Prue agree. Later, Phoebe is looking in the book of shadows and it flips to the Handfasting thing. Grams appears and tells Phoebe that true love conquers all. One of the bosses henchmen comes to the manor and shoots Christopher (as an owl). Leo cant heal him. Piper and Leo get into a small argument but it ends when Phoebe holds a sign and gives Leo and Piper "her blessing" to get married. Brooke leaves to end the curse to save Christopher. Then the eclipse happens (a night within a day). Christopher turns back into a human and Leo heals him. Luckily Christopher and the sisters show up and stop Brooke from giving in to the boss. When they are there, Piper feels all "warm and fuzzy". (True Love). At home, Piper comes down the stairs to get married with Grams presiding. Leo is pulled away against his will and Piper gets very upset. In the end, Cole is standing next to a bunch of hooded men and he tells them he is going to get close to Phoebe.
"Once Upon A Time" Piper has a dream in which Leo tells her he has to stay away from her. Prue calls Phoebe who is driving her car. She stops because there is a girl in the road. She is yelling "You cant have it" Phoebe takes her to the manor. Meanwhile Prues key turn up missing and the Kate (girl) says that fairies took them. At Kate's house she cant sleep because of the tweens. Phoebe looks in the book of shadows and finds out that the in-betweens are doorways, windows, shadows and midnight. That is when the trolls come out. Phoebe also finds drawings done by all three sisters of fairies and trolls. Prue and Phoebe go to see Kate and they try to see Thistle, the fairy that Kate saved from the trolls. Kate throws fairy dust on them and they can see Thistle. At the club, Prue and Phoebe act like little kids. They try using fairy dust on Piper but she doesn't believe. Piper sends them home. Phoebe gets by trolls and she loses the key to Thistles box. As this happens, Cole who came into use the bathroom morphs into the attack and trys to steal the book of shadows. He looks like the Guy from Star Wars- Darth Mal. Then Cole morphs back into the bathroom. He acts all innocent and Phoebe tells him that she will call him. Prue is going to make a spell that will help them see the fairies with out making them kids. At the club, Piper gets 'attacked' by trolls. her keys are stolen, she drops glass and on her way to her car she drops her purse. She yells at "The Powers That Be" and demand that they giver her Leo back. At the house the girls say the spell. They go to Kate's house. Kate is dragged under the bed and turned into a fairy. The sisters follow another fairy to the woods and into a cave. They save Kate and Thistle and they kill the trolls. At home, the girls open the front door to find flowers and their missing keys. Piper talks to Prue and Phoebe and says that if they would have lost Kate because of her (being mad at the Powers that Be) she couldn't have lived with herself. She also says that she knows if she stays with Leo that both of their jobs would be affected and that if giving him up is the only option than she is willing to do it. As she gets up, Leo orbs in. "They" are giving Leo and Piper a chance to prove themselves. Phoebe calls Cole and flirts with him for a few seconds. Cole hangs up and tells his shadow that he is getting close.
"All Halliwells Eve" It Halloween and the girls are ready to party at the club. They are all dressed up and even Leo and Darryl get in on the fun. But the Charmed ones are unaware of the demons that can come back to life to get them. Just as they realize that the Gremlocks have returned from banished-land, the girls are sucked into a time portal and land in Colonial Virginia where a small town is on a witch hunt for an unborn baby. Unknown to the sisters, Cole is also back in time making deals with an evil mistress who has captured Charlotte, a mother-to-be caring an unborn child believed to have powers that will last for ages. Piper, Phoebe and Prue get chased by a group of witch hunters but are saved by a small coven. The small coven of good witches casted a spell to retrieve The Charmed Ones to help them save the baby and mother. The Halliwell sisters soon learn that they have no powers in this time. They are forced to trust the Wiccan wisdom of the Colonial coven. The girls end up getting captured and hanged but they are saved by a mysterious stranger who Prue has an interest in. He sacrifices his life for the trio of good witches, and they finally save the mother-to-be and head for a sacred alter where they create an invisible shield against the oncoming villagers. As soon as the baby is born, the fight is suddenly over. As the Charmed Ones prepare to leave they learn the baby is their own great great grandmother, Melinda Warren. They just saved themselves. When they return to present day the Charmed Ones immediately have to combat demons that were awaiting their return. When the coast seems clear, all head to the P3 to celebrate Halloween. Prue bumps into a present day version of their unknown Colonial savior and Cole, inappropriately dressed as an angel for Halloween, continues his deceptive romance with Phoebe.
"Sight Unseen" Phoebe and Piper are at P3, watching Sean, Prue's date have another drink while waiting on Prue. They comment that Prue has been on the lookout for Demons since they returned from the past, and that she seems to have become obsessed with them. Phoebe asks Piper about how she and Leo have been doing, evidently Piper has been concerned that 'They' are watching them, and Piper is uncomfortable being intimate with Leo because of this paranoia. Phoebe comments that at least Piper has the opportunity, she and Cole have continued their 'flirting tango', as she calls it. Prue comments that she wants to find out more about the Demon the Triad sent to kill them, and hopes that by tracing the village they visited she can find out more information. Piper calls Prue to tell her about how Sean is waiting for her. Piper covers for Sean, who leaves dejected. Prue arrives at the Manor, only to find the door open and all of the mirrors in the house broken. As she carefully searches the house, she is attacked by an intruder in black. During the struggle, Prue uses her power to toss the intruder out the window. As the sisters clean up the house, they talk about the attack. Evidently nothing was taken, though the intruder did go throughout the entire house smashing mirrors and going through everything. Prue is concerned it was a demon, thinking it might have been Kali since she used mirrors. Piper and Phoebe aren't convinced since it doesn't seem like what a demon would do. Morris was investigating the break in, saying he found fingerprints. Prue says he won't find anything, but he says he still wants a grudge list of people that might be out to get them. Prue hands him a list, but unfortunately it is a list of demons, warlocks, and other evil forces they have faced in the last year. Prue goes to the Book of Shadows, but is concerned when she finds the door to the attic unlocked (she has been locking it ever since a demon tried to steal the book). Morris is concerned about Prue's attitude towards security. They don't have a security system, a dead bolt, or a dog. For three young women, he considers this dangerous. Prue says they are witches, they can take care of themselves. Morris says the door wasn't picked, and the sisters are divided over who they think was the attacker. Piper and Phoebe are worried that Prue won't even consider that it's a human. Prue calls for Leo, demanding everything he knows about the Triad. However, Leo and Piper are too interested in each other to really help Prue out. Meanwhile, the Triad has summoned Belthezar. They have grown weary of his delays and had expected results by now. Belthezar says that Phoebe is his way in, but the Triad says they are sending another. Belthezar is not pleased at this turn of events, claiming they had a bargain. He gives them the charmed ones and they are supposed to give back something to him (what this is I'm not sure, and am still not sure, I don't remember that from the first time I watched it). The triad has sent Traxa. Traxa is walking towards the manor, and he just walks in the front door. Piper and Leo are making out, heading towards the bed when Piper tries to stop Leo, saying she feels uncomfortable because she feels like she is being watched. Leo says they have to get past this, but he leaves to try and go find some answers for Prue, leaving Piper frustrated. In the attic, Prue is asleep, the book of Shadows open before her. Traxa lifts a pillow and goes to suffocate her, but she wakes up and throws the pillow across the room. The doorbell rings, it is Cole. He asks Phoebe if she's all right, covering by saying he heard about the break in. He is obviously nervous about Traxa. Phoebe is smitten by the idea that he came all the way over for her sake, and Cole offers to have a patrol car watch the place. As he is talking, he sees the front door move, Traxa has left the manor. Phoebe offers Cole some coffee, but Prue sends him away, saying they have something they have to discuss. After he leaves, Prue tells them about the Pillow that almost smothered her. Cole confronts Traza outside. Traxa is mad because Cole saved the witches, and he warns him not to interfere again when he strikes tomorrow night. Cole says he is not afraid of Traxa, but Traxa says he never learned how to defeat him. Traxa turns invisible and attacks Cole briefly before he leaves. The next morning, Prue asks her sisters if they have seen a few items (Grahm's necklace, her good luck blouse). Phoebe is concerned that whoever broke into the house took them. Prue wonders if it was a demon who took them for some weird ceremony, but Phoebe seems unconcerned about the demon possibilities. Morris shows up, saying that the same set of fingerprints showed up on all the mirrors. They tell him about the missing items, and he says it could be a stalker. He wants them to get together a human grudge list. He says that this stalker could be a real danger to Prue. Phoebe and Piper says she should listen to him, but Prue asks why when no one seems to listen to her. At the Courthouse, Traxa tries to sneak up on Cole, who turns around and blasts him with a fire extinguisher, which reveals him. Evidently cold undoes his power, and Traxa can't feel so he doesn't know when it is cold. Traxa says he intends to kill the Charmed Ones, then come back for Cole. Prue is at her photo shoot, but unbeknown to her, she is being photographed by someone else. During the photo shoot, Prue comes up with an idea to trap the demon. At P3, Phoebe asks Abbey (the bartender) if she has seen Cole, which she hasn't. Phoebe goes to find Piper, who is making out with a half-naked Leo in her office. Piper is obviously still frustrated at she and Leo's inability to get physical. Phoebe shows Piper her stalker list (a multi-page document mostly from her days in New York). Prue shows up, looking relaxed and ready for a hot date. She comments that she is not as worried about demons anymore. Prue says she set a trap around the Book of Shadows, saying she intends to capture a Demon so they can question about him about the Triad. Prue sees Sean and goes to try and make up for her missed date the other night. While the sisters are at P3, Cole shows up at the manor, letting himself in. Remembering Traxa's weakness, Cole turns the AC way down and opens the windows to make the house cold. Going into the attic, he does the same thing. Not able to resist the temptation, he goes for the book of shadows, and is caught in Prue's trap. A small stone with Prue starts to glow, signaling that her trap worked. The sisters head home to see what they have caught. At the house, the sisters realize how cold it is as they go to the attic and find Cole laying unconscious. Prue warns that he might be a demon, but Phoebe says he might be hurt and wants to help him. Cole lies, saying he came by to see if they were ok. He says the front door was open and when he saw all the windows open he thought someone had broken into the house again. He is angry about the trap, saying that he could have them arrested for a trap like that, he leaves angrily, but Prue is not convinced he isn't a demon. Phoebe mocks her, saying that Prue is right and that Cole is a plant trying to get close to her so he can kill them all. Piper mentions the package that Phoebe found for Prue, thinking it is from Sean. Thinking it flowers, Prue opens it to find insects and dead flowers. They call Morris to tell him about Sean. Piper says that Prue needs to keep an open mind, that not all the evil in the world is demonic. Cole confronts Traxa, saying he supports his efforts to get the Charmed Ones and telling Traxa that they key to getting them is in the Book of Shadows, in the attic. Traxa goes towards the manor, as the sisters (dressed warmly) close the windows to warm the house. Phoebe is still mad at Prue, and Piper tries to find the middle ground. Leo arrives and helps them to close windows. In the attic, Prue sees Traxa's reflection in a mirror and throws him against the wall. They struggle until Prue throws him into her demon trap. Everyone else hears something going on an runs towards the attic, only to find Prue with the trapped demon, torturing him until he answers her questions about the Triad. He says he is Traxa, and that he is not the only agent the Triad has sent after them, and that the other's name is Belthezar. Suddenly Traxa explodes into flame, destroyed by the Triad. Phoebe apologizes to Prue since she was right. Prue says it is alright and they look up Traxa and Belthezar. As they read about Traxa, they realize if someone hadn't made it freezing in the house, Prue never would have seen him. They ask Leo if they have another guardian angel, and Leo says he hopes so. Evidently he has heard about Belthezar, who is an infamous demonic soldier of fortune, one of the most evil creatures out there. Phoebe tells Prue to call Cole and offer and apology. Prue is too wired to sleep, so she develops her photos. She discovers the photographs of herself among her film, but before she can act, her face is pushed into the developing solution and she is knocked out. The next morning, Phoebe and Piper talk. Phoebe is still worried because all of the missing things and broken mirrors are not demonic things, they are things a stalker would do. They notice that Prue's car is gone and her bed is made. Phoebe calls her to check in. Near an unconscious Prue, someone answers Prue's phone and talks to Phoebe, saying she will talk to her later. Piper and Phoebe head to P3, and in the basement, Abbey (the bartender) taunts Prue. Abbey evidently wants to be Prue. Evidently Abbey views herself as a looser and Prue as a winner. She has decided to take Prue's place, being beautiful and successful and loved by men. Before Abbey kills Prue, she wants to know how Prue threw through the door. Prue says, 'like this' and throws Abbey against the wall and escapes. Prue's vision is still blurry from when Abbey pushed her into the film developing solution, so she stumbles up the stairs. At P3, Piper answers the phone to find Morris on the line, saying that the fingerprints they found at the house matched someone on the grudge list: Abbey. Piper opens Abbey's locker and finds pictures of Prue, Prue's perfume, and her cosmetics, and a diary describing Prue's activities. Suddenly Phoebe gets a premonition of Abbey killing Prue and they quickly head back towards the manor. At the manor, Abbey is looking for Prue. Prue uses her astral projection to distract Abbey before she tackles her. Abbey reloads and is prepared to kill Prue. Phoebe and Piper arrive in time to freeze the bullet and Abbey. In frustration, Prue sends the frozen Abbey into the wall. At P3, everyone listens Marvelous3, and Prue questions the new bartender, Rachel, asking her about her dreams and aspirations. She is relieved to find that Rachel is engaged and is only bartending until she gets her masters in education and becomes a teacher. Evidently Prue has realized they have to be more careful. Leo is installing an alarm system and they plan to start locking the doors. Cole enters the bar and Phoebe says that Prue doesn't like him. Phoebe goes to talk to Cole, with Prue telling her to be careful. Phoebe and Cole talk, and Cole says they are more than just friends and kisses her. However Leo is not installing an alarm system, as he and Piper are otherwise occupied. As they lay there, Piper calls out to 'Them', 'I hope you enjoyed the show'.
"Primrose Path" Prue is practicing using her telekinetic powers while she is astral projecting as Phoebe comes looking for her. Evidently Prue is concerned about Belthezor after she read up on him. Phoebe comments that she would hate to find herself alone with him. Prue says she wouldn't last long and that none of them would. Phoebe is distressed because she has a lunch date with Cole. She says they should be beyond lunch dates by now. Prue has been having trouble with one of her teeth, but is going to see a dentist later. On the way to the dentist, Cole manipulates Prue, sending her false signs to make her believe she is helping an innocent. She is led to a building that is supposed to be demolished. Evidently there is someone that refuses to leave the building, he evidently hasn't stepped outside in four years. Prue goes to try and help him, only to find a man who can obviously feel the pain of those around him (he feels the pain in Prue's tooth as well as her pity). He tells her to go away because she is hurting him. Leo and Piper are arguing because Piper introduced Leo as her 'friend'. She says she can't tell people she is engaged to a White Lighter. Piper wishes she knew what it was like to live in the real world. Prue arrives home but Cole pulled up behind her for his lunch date with Phoebe. Prue clandestinely tells Phoebe about the signs she had been getting and the man that they led her to, trying not to let Cole in on what was going on. Cole goes to make a call to find a social worker to help the man. As he does so, his shadow starts to go report to the Triad, but Cole stops his shadow, saying they agreed no more updates until he succeeds, he can't afford to fail again. He says that his newest plan will work, that Prue followed his signs. Prue is telling them about the man she found. Leo says he is probably a future empath, a mortal who can literally feel what other people are feeling, someone that helps to guide people with this rare gift. Prue says this man probably doesn't see it as a gift, but rather as a curse, Leo believe it is because he is rejecting his gift. They want to try and help him, and Cole returns with a name of someone at housing who can help him. Cole and Phoebe go to leave for lunch when Leo invites himself and Piper to go with them, saying that two couples out on the town together in the real world would be nice. At a psychiatric hospital, a man (Father Thomas) reads in the paper about the shut in and suddenly gets agitated, saying he has to get there and help protect the innocent. He is restrained by the nurses. Prue goes to visit the shut in again. She talks to him, but he says he can't go outside, saying she knows what it is like to have a gift you can't control and didn't want. The man tells Prue what she is feeling, all of the emotions she feels about having a demon after her. He asks her if it is truly a gift or if it is a curse. Prue casts a spell to relieve him of his 'curse'. She gives him Cole's number and tells him to call him and then Prue leaves. A deputy arrives to remove the shut in, but as the man goes to leave he kills the deputy with demonic powers. Piper, Leo, Phoebe, and Cole are at an awkward lunch. As they struggle to find a topic of conversation, Phoebe asks what Cole thinks of the 49er's (the football team). When it is obvious he doesn't know what she is talking about, Phoebe makes an offhand comment that he isn't human. Cole responds by choking on the water he just drunk. Phoebe and Piper excuse themselves, and they talk that Phoebe believes that Cole is pulling away from her. Meanwhile, Cole and Leo talk. Leo admits that he (and everyone) feels protective of Phoebe, she has been through allot. He tells Cole that whatever his intentions are, Cole should be straight with her. As the check comes, Cole asks Leo if he wants to split the bill, but Piper quickly covers and accepts the bill for him. Cole gets a page and has to leave, he shimmers to the shut in, who thanks him for sending the witch. The man tells Cole that Prue has only a few days before the weight of the emotions crush her, he says that Belthezor should enjoy watching her crumble. However, Cole says he will be out of town, he doesn't need to watch the other two suffer the loss of their sister. The man is surprised at compassion from Belthezor and is worried Belthezor has been under cover too long. The man is now out to find the man that cursed him with the empathic ability in the first place, Father Thomas. Cole stops him however, he can't risk the sisters finding him and reversing the spell, but the man says he is immune to the witches powers, but Belthezor threatens him anyway. Meanwhile, Prue is starting to feel the effects of the empathic abilities, feeling it when a man pinches his girlfriend's butt and the effects of the laughing gas on another patient. At the manor, Phoebe and Cole talk before he leaves. Phoebe is worried he no longer wants to see her again, but Cole says it has nothing to do with how he feels about her. He promises she will understand soon. Prue arrives as Cole leaves and she feels an emotion from Cole (described as something she hasn't felt since Andy was alive). Cole is falling in love with Phoebe. Prue can also feel Phoebe's emotion, she is falling in love with Cole. They realize that Prue's spell backfired and she got Vince's (the demon's) ability. Prue can sense fear coming from Leo, and demands he spill it. Leo is worried because she isn't ready to receive the gift. Prue thinks it is good thing, a power boost she was looking for to fight Belthezor. Everyone else is concerned, and Prue can feel their concern. This feeling cause a surge and she destroys the TV in the kitchen. Prue tells Phoebe to go to Cole, she can feel Phoebe's emotions about him. Phoebe is torn, but Prue tells her to go get Cole. Piper, Leo, and Prue head towards the attic, but Prue tells them to resolve their couple issues (resentment and denial) first because they are screaming in her head. Piper and Leo talk. She wants to share him with the rest of the world even though he is not part of the world. They start to kiss, but Prue screams at them, 'not now, I have a headache'. At his apartment, Cole is packing a suitcase when Phoebe arrives. She says she came to tell him something, but instead kisses him passionately, with him returning the kiss. Cole tries to warn her, saying that she doesn't know what she's getting into. Phoebe says 'neither do you'. The next morning, Phoebe and Cole are in bed together after a night Phoebe describes as 'magical'. She says that right here, right now was perfect. Phoebe sees his suitcase and asks if he is going somewhere. He says he isn't sure. Phoebe says if Cole is hiding something from her, he can tell her. If he is in some sort of trouble...but he says he can handle it. At a nearby church, Vince is assaulting a member of the church, demanding to know where father Thomas is. Before killing the woman, Vince learns Father Thomas had a mental breakdown three years ago and was sent to the psychiatric hospital. Piper finds Prue in the basement, trying to escape the emotions that are everywhere. She is picking up things from other people's houses. The more powerful the emotions Prue feels, the stronger her outbursts of energy become. They decide to try and reverse the damage and return the ability. Phoebe meets Piper at the condemned building (she still hasn't changed from the night before and Piper comments, 'all night'?). Prue is hiding in the car from the emotions. They see the police removing a body from the house and start to suspect a demon was involved. Leo guesses that this demon was cursed by a true empath, and Phoebe gets a premonition of Vince killing a number of people, and a sign pointing to the psychiatric hospital. They head off to try and save the victim while Prue suffers from the weight of the emotional distress. At the hospital, they confront Father Thomas, telling him they are witches who are looking for an Empath who cursed the demon. He tells them what happened, saying he gave Vinceras (the demon) his gift, but in doing so, he left himself stranded on earth for an eternity with no gift to help other people with. He is distraught when told that Prue cast the spell, he gave up everything to stop that demon. His emotional outburst is felt by Prue, who almost tears the room apart until she gets it under control. Back at the manor, Prue is suffering greatly. Father Thomas warns them that Vinceras is immune to the power of witches. Phoebe surmises that by using the emotions she is feeling, Prue can channel that energy to increase her power. Piper blows up at Father Thomas, saying that he has to help her and get out of his self pity. Father Thomas goes to help Prue, trying to teach her to use the emotions she is feeling. Vinceras comes through the front door of the manor looking for Father Thomas. Piper freezes him briefly before he fights through her power. Vinceras quickly beats Phoebe and Piper, it is obvious they are not a match for him. Meanwhile Father Thomas is trying to reach through to Prue, telling her she has the power to experience the whole gammit of human emotion. Upstairs, Vinceras has Phoebe by the throat, threatening to kill her if she doesn't reveal where the Empath is. Suddenly Prue arrives, and she throws the demon against the wall. They struggle, Prue using the empathic powers to fight faster and harder than normal, leaping off walls and flipping up and down. Vinceras seems confident and grabs Prue by the throat, but she breaks free and fights him with one hand behind her back. Vinceras says he can handle her powers, but Prue asks him if he can handle human pain. She astral projects and her astral self leaps into Vinceras, destroying him from the inside. When Vinceras dies, the voices stop. Prue had hoped to return Father Thomas' gift, but Father Thomas explains he obviously has the ability to know what others are feeling without it. At P3, the sisters talk about what happened, both with the demon and with Cole. Phoebe doesn't know where everything stands, but decides to go find out. She goes to Cole, and is surprised to find him at his apartment. Before they embrace, Cole says an associate of his didn't do as he was told and that Cole still has business to attend to.
"Power Outage" Phoebe and Cole are in bed together, they are talking and Phoebe is saying that Cole seems to pull away whenever she gets close, she feels that he is afraid of telling her something. He tries to avoid the conversation, but she presses. Cole then turns into Belthezar and attacks Phoebe. Cole wakes up from his dream to find one of the Triad in his room. He had given Cole the vision to remind him of his true nature, saying 'You had better find a way to kill the witches, or we will kill you'. Phoebe, Piper and Prue are in P3. Prue is talking about how they need to prepare to fight Belthezar, Piper is concerned that Fast Ball is coming in, and Phoebe is worried because Cole is late. Each of them have their own priorities, and they complain about their schedules (doctor's appointment, photo shoot, class, home owner's meeting). As Phoebe and Cole are talking, she mentions how their is a fine line between love and hate, and Cole makes an excuse to leave, he has an idea of how to destroy the Charmed Ones. Back at the manor, the girls run their practice drill as Belthezar comes growling into the house. Phoebe jumps up and kicks him, Piper freezes his lightning ball attack, Prue astral projects behind him and kicks him, and Piper slashes him with a knife. Really neat scene too. It turns out to be Leo pretending to be the demon though, it was just a practice. Cole bargains with Andras, a demon who increases hate, telling him that his plan is to turn the charmed ones against each other, and that they will start with the youngest sister. Cole surprises Phoebe as she comes out of class, saying that he wants to talk about where they stand. Phoebe has other responsibilities, but says she will figure it out and agrees to go out with Cole. At the manor, the Home Owner's meeting is going on, all complaining about things. Phoebe comes home and convinces Piper to take the meeting. Piper says that Leo is going to have to help her, but 'THEY' call, and he conveniently orbs out. Andras appears and infects Piper, increasing her anger about the meeting, and she blows up at the Home Owners and throws them out of the house. Phoebe and Cole are at a club where Latin music is playing and people are dancing. They are growing closer to one another. Phoebe wants to know more about Cole and Cole's past, but of course he claims it is not very interesting. 'More Secrets' Phoebe claims. As they are talking, Phoebe talks about her past and how she and her sisters are so close and that she doesn't know what she would do without them. Cole appears taken back by this. The conversation breaks down as Cole withdraws and the two end up dancing closely. Prue returns home, complaining on her phone about how someone (Phoebe) had left her with an empty tank. Piper grabs her phone and hangs up on whoever Prue was talking to. Piper begins to fight with Prue. Andras appears and infect Prue with his power, and now Prue and Piper are starting to fight. As Cole drops Phoebe off, she wants to know what is going to happen next between them. Cole replies, 'Too bad you can't predict the future'. Phoebe smiles, 'Who says I can't?' Andras is watching the two of them, and as Cole leaves he calls to Phoebe and tells her sadly, 'goodbye'. Phoebe walks into the fight between Prue and Piper, and Andras infect her. The three fight really hard, and in their rage, they end up using their powers against one another. On the book of Shadows, the tri-quatra suddenly splits, the Power of Three is broken! Leo orbs in as Prue and Piper clean up, wondering what happend. He says it was so bad that 'THEY' heard it, saying the fight broke the power of three. Piper and Prue realize that they were more angry than they should have been, they suspect some demonic intervention. Phoebe has run off though, and it cuts to Belthezar chanting as he prepares a dagger. Phoebe knocks at the door and he goes to answer it, but as the door opens, Cole is the one that meets Phoebe. Cole listens and comforts Phoebe about the fight she had, passing up two excellent opportunities to kill her. In the end, he says that she needs to return to her sisters. Andras appears as Phoebe leaves, saying that Belthezar has really gone over to the other side. Andras uses his power to enrage Belthezar and then reveals that he also has the ability to take control of his victim, and he takes control of Belthezar! Phoebe returns to the manor, and learns of what has happend, and that Belthezar is probably coming to kill them. They work to try and restore their bond as sisters. Belthezar breaks in and attacks them, but their power returns and they defeat him, forcing Andras to leave Belthezar. Belthezar kills Andres, 'No one crosses me'. The girls run the same plan as earlier, and get a slice of his flesh. They defeat him in the traditional fashion, throwing him out the stained glass window (tm). Defeated, he turns into Cole, but before anyone can see him, he fades away. Phoebe, Piper, and Prue are at P3, they seemed to have worked out their issues and agree that they need to be more open about what goes on between them. Piper seems to have learned how to say 'no' pretty well. The Triad stands in judgement over Cole, saying he has betrayed the Source. They ask if he has any last words. "Only this," he says, and kills all three of the Triad.
"Sleuthing With the Enemy" Prue and Piper are making a potion to defeat Belthezar using the piece of the demon's flesh they obtained. They call Phoebe down to say the incantation, noting that she may not be in the mood for it since Cole has apparently dissapeared for the last week, but the sisters say the incantation. Meanwhile in a graveyard, Belthezar is injured and on the run. A bounty hunter chases him down, claiming that the source itself has decreed the bounty, a testament to his victories, and his betrayal. Masking himself as Cole, Belthezar escapes. Phoebe is headed to class and then to see Cole, Prue reminds her that they were going to summon Belthezar and destroy him. Prue obviously does not approve of Phoebe and Cole. Prue sends her off, saying she and Piper will handle the vanquishing. Piper hands Phoebe one of the potion to defeat Belthezar, and Phoebe goes off, telling her sisters that they shouldn't keep secrets from each other. Phoebe and Piper try to summon Belthezar, but get the bounty hunter looking for Belthezar. They fight, and Piper freezes the hunter as Prue sends him flying towards the grandfather clock, 'Not the Clock, we can't afford to keep fixing that thing'. Piper unfreezes the demon's head so they can talk, but he insults them and she unfreezes him, sending him into the clock anyway, claiming 'it was worth it'. The demon claims he is Krell, a Zotar. He goes on to explain that he is hunting Belthezar for killing the Triad, which the sisters find surprising. '... your white lighter must really be sleeping on the job,' he claims, which irritates Piper of course. Krell wants to work with them, claiming only he can find him and he needs the sisters to vanquish him. As he leaves they cry out together, 'LEO!' Phoebe goes to Cole's office, and finds a DA investigator who is also looking for Cole. Phoebe begins to suspect something when she is told he hasn't been working on any cases recently. Phoebe goes to Cole's apartment and finds Cole, injured. She helps him into bed, saying that she will have to get Leo (a doctor she claims), who can heal him. Phoebe returns to the manor just in time to find out what is going on with Krell and Belthezar. Prue and Piper go with Krell, Phoebe goes with Leo (to the cemetery supposedly) but they end up going to Cole's. Phoebe convinces Leo to break the rules and heal Cole. When he does, something goes wrong, and Leo realizes who Cole could be and tries to warn Phoebe, who doesn't listen. Piper, Krell, and Prue find a homeless man who has Cole's coat. Krell wants to torture him to find out where he got it, but Prue and Piper won't let him. Prue recognizes Cole's coat and they go to find him. They meet up with Leo, who explains what happened. Phoebe and Cole dance around the issue of what is going on since he knows she knows. As the other group busts in on them, Cole shifts to Belthezar and 'shimmers' out with Phoebe as a hostage. Phoebe and Belthezar reappear in the graveyard and then confront each other. Turning into Cole, he explains that he couldn't kill her earlier, although he tried hard (he explains he was the one that went back in time to kill off their line, sent Traxa, and Andras). He explains that he is half-human and that he had forgotten what it was like to feel and care, but that she awoke his humanity. As he submits to her, Krell appears and attacks them. Phoebe attacks Krell, and as Krell is about to kill Phoebe, Cole kills Krell, convincing her of his nature. As Prue and Piper call out looking for them, Phoebe uses some of Cole's blood, his shirt, and the potion to pretend to vanquish him so her sisters will think he's defeated, but Cole shimmers away. At the manor, Phoebe's sisters try to comfort her; she apologizes (her sisters think for not seeing Cole for who he is) but they say she has nothing to be sorry for. They leave her alone to sort things out.
"Coyote Piper" Prue is telling Leo that Piper never really fit in during high school as Piper tries on an outfit for her upcoming reunion. Piper comes down in an outfit that is a bit out there. Piper had intended to go back to her reunion and show them she had made it, but she feels that she is not going to do that. She accuses Prue of not understanding because Prue was class president (and head cheerleader) and Prue agrees, she can't understand what Piper is going through. Evidently Phoebe is still down about what happened with Cole. Piper mentions, "when you find out your boyfriend is a demon and you have to vanquish him, a little alone time is in order". Meanwhile, an Kierkin, (the dark and powerful Alchemist) is talking to a woman, claiming that he created her and gave her life, but she doesn't seem grateful. Suddenly, the woman grabs a knife and kills herself, and her essence escapes to possess a man. The man's soul appears next to his body (only the essence can see him) and Tara (the essence) demands he take her to the charmed ones. Prue and Piper invite Phoebe to come with them to the party, but she claims to have allot of school work that she needs to do. Her sisters are worried about her, but she claims she just has some soul searching to do. As everyone is packing the cars, a man drives up (Justin Harper). Leo is worried when he starts talking to Piper, but Prue claims he has nothing to worry about, he was just a friend from school. "Besides," she claims, "he had a huge crush on me." However, when Justin meets Prue he says, "Phoebe, right?" As all this goes on, Tara watches them. Meanwhile, Phoebe is at the graveyard where she 'vanquished' Cole. She says she can't go on lying and that she has to tell her sisters the truth. As she touches a grave, she gets a vision of the past, in which Cole's demonic mother kills his father and takes Cole. At the reunion party, Piper is easily intimidated by the homecoming queen, who tells her to take out the trash, which she does. Justin and Prue are flirting, turns out Justin did indeed remember Prue, 'you plagued my high school existence' he claimed. As Piper is taking out the trash, Tara (in the man's body) approaches him and the man stabs himself, releasing the essence which takes over Piper. As the homecoming queen tells the possessed Piper to move something, Prue tells her to stand up for herself. Possessed Piper then says ok and calls out, "hey Bitch, move the trays yourself". The Real Piper manages to fight back and briefly retakes control of her body, begging Prue to help her. Meanwhile the Alchemist is searching for the essence, and finds the man she had inhabited briefly. The Alchemist brings him back to life and demands to know where the essence went. As Phoebe is researching the Turner family tree, finding out more and Cole's past in the historical society, possessed Piper returns to the manor, where Piper tells her that she is not going to tell her what her powers are, even though Tara claims that the Alchemist will be coming for them. Tara determines that the only way to stop the Alchemist is to get Piper's sisters to come help her vanquish the Alchemist. At P3, Prue is playing havoc on the homecoming queen, using her powers to cause the decorations to come apart. She continues to get to know Justin, who admits that he believes in the supernatural 'It makes life interesting'. Possessed Piper's call interrupts her and she goes to pick up Phoebe and go to the manor to defeat the demon. The Alchemist breaks in and assaults Possessed Piper. Tara freezes him and after Prue and Phoebe arrive, they vanquish him. As he is vanquished though, the Alchemist claims, 'I could have helped you. Now, she will destroy you'. The sisters are researching the alchemist, but Piper breaks through again and asks for help. Tara suppresses her again. Prue and Phoebe are talking about Cole/Belthezar, Phoebe claims that she really needs to believe in his good side. In Piper's room, Possessed Piper and Piper are talking. As Leo appears, Piper claims that if her sisters can't figure her out, her boyfriend Tom will. Leo get concerned when Possessed Piper doesn't kiss him like Piper does, says she didn't hear him come through the door (when he orbed in), and called him Tom. Possessed Piper knocks him out and leaves to go to the reunion. Prue and Phoebe learn more about the alchemist as Piper leaves. They realize that Piper has been possessed. At P3, Piper is dancing on the bar, hanging all over guys and pouring drinks in a very expressive state. Prue and Phoebe get her alone and try to cast a dispossessing spell, but the essence is too strong. She claims she was made with Kierkin's blood and has his powers. The only way to get the essence out of Piper's body is to kill Piper. The sisters knock Piper out (cat fight scene between Piper and Prue), and take her back to the manor. Prue has a plan, and tells Phoebe to trust her. Phoebe goes to get Leo as Prue kills Piper, releasing the essence. The free flowing essence takes Leo's body, and Prue claims that if she doesn't bring Piper back from the dead (since she has the alchemist's powers) she will kill Leo's body. Prue tells Possessed Leo to bring Piper back to life or she'll kill him and destroy the essence. Possessed Leo brings Piper back to life, and the sisters use the power of three to destroy the essence. Leo then heals Piper of her knife wound. At P3, the sisters are talking. Justin Harper shows up and he and Prue flirt a bit more. Phoebe leaves to make a call, and Leo follows her to console her about what happened with Cole's seduction. She tries to tell him that he is still alive, but backs off at the last moment, 'He's still alive....for me'.
"We all Scream for Ice Cream" The sisters are at P3, and are observing an innocent looking guy that seems to be interested in Piper. Prue complains that she has a song stuck in her head that she can't get rid of and hums a few bars for them, but no one recognizes it. Piper gives Prue a card, evidently they have been invited to Justin's family BBQ, but Prue doesn't want to go (Phoebe wonders if it has something to do with Prue's parental problems). Elsewhere an ice cream truck is playing the song that was stuck in Prue's head, and a young boy approaches to get ice cream, only to be sucked inside screaming. Prue is having nightmares about a snow covered playground when her alarm goes off. She finds Phoebe at her computer (looking for more info on Cole). As they talk, Phoebe gets an instant message from an old friend. Piper comes down the stairs and announcing that their father, Victor, is in town. Prue of course has issues with her father, but Phoebe wants to investigate further. Piper goes looking for Victor, but finds no evidence of him at the office where her friend saw him. At the photo shoot, Prue and Phoebe are talking about Prue's problems with Victor. Prue hears a girl humming the song stuck in her head and follows her to the ice cream truck. Prue and Phoebe witness the young girl get pulled into the ice-cream truck and get sucked in as well. They are inside a snow filled playground, and are accosted by the Ice Cream Man. They find a young boy, who tells them he and others are trapped inside and that there is a force 'The Nothing' that is trying to kill them (they witness the Nothing destroy a young girl). Back at P3, Piper is trying to get in touch with Prue and Phoebe when she meets Kaleb. Kaleb explains he's new in town and is looking to meet someone 'special'. Piper takes this to mean he's looking for a date (or something else, really funny scene you have to hear it). As Prue and Phoebe follow the kid, Phoebe has a premonition of Prue in the play ground when she was young and she was being rescued by her father. Prue and Phoebe help the young kids escape, only to realize that the kids are not innocents, but are in fact demonic. The boy injures the Ice Cream man and they run off. Piper is sitting with Leo and is worried about her sisters since they didn't come home all night and even Leo can't locate them. As they explain what happened to Piper they learn more about the Ice Cream Man in the Book of Shadows. He's evidently a mortal and trap the demonic kids with that song. Phoebe explains her vision with Prue and Victor and they decide to seek out their father, who is evidently who Phoebe has been emailing and communicating with. While the demonic kids are loose and causing trouble, the sisters are at P3. Kaleb returns and tries to talk to them, but Leo arrives and goes off to speak with Kaleb in the back. Victor arrives and explains to Prue how she had witnessed a kid get sucked into the ice cream truck when she was younger and had gone to try and help the kid, only to be sucked in as well. Victor went into the truck and brought her back, it was the last thing he did before he left because he couldn't protect them from anything like this, so he left. Victor agrees to help them. As the girls are looking for the truck, the kids show up and attack them. Prue and Victor go to find the truck (it got towed) while Phoebe and Piper go after the kids. Prue and Victor get inside and find the injured Ice Cream man. He knows they are the charmed ones (he was alerted by friends in high places when he pulled them in). They try to save him, but the Nothing gets him. Before it gets him though, he gives them a piece of equipment to fix the disabled truck. Back outside, Piper and Phoebe discover that the kids have found friends, they go to the junkyard to find Prue and Victor. At the junkyard, the kids attack the sisters, knocking Piper out and attack Phoebe. As they surround Phoebe, Prue emerges and knocks them back. Victor fixes the truck and the kids are enchanted by the song and are sucked back into the truck. At this point, Leo arrives with Kaleb, who he explains is the new Ice Cream Man. As it turns out, Victor has been offered a job that bases him in San Francisco. Evidently Prue has gotten over a few of the issues she had with her Father, and wants him around again. "See you soon' she says.
"Blinded by the Whitelighter" This is one of Rust's personal favorites!!- Prue and Piper are brewing a potion for Phoebe to take with her to meet an investigator who is working on Cole's disappearance (in case he's a demon). Piper is mad at Leo for being late last night, he was out being a force for good and it bothers her that he has a life that she cannot be a part of. Leo explains it's like being involved with someone who works for the CIA. At this point, Phoebe come in and asks Leo if he works for the CIA. Prue retorts, 'ever since you became a blond...'. Phoebe's sisters give her the potion, she is nervous about meeting the investigator. Elsewhere a witch is running from a warlock. She deflects his powers and kills him, but unfortunately that was his clone and he kills her, gaining her power of deflection. A White Lighter appears to try and help her charge, but she is dead. The warlock Aimes, taunts the White Lighter (Natalie) and vanishes. Piper and Leo are talking about the rules and how they have to be careful while they are on probation. Natalie orbs in, scaring Piper and Prue until Leo explains that she is a friend, the two were 'rookies' together. She explains about the warlock who killed her charge and took the power of deflection, all White Lighters have been put on alert (but Leo missed the staff meeting). Natalie and Leo begin to argue in various clicking sounds, inaudible to Piper and Prue. They are clearly talking about Piper. Natalie appears to be a very by the rules type of White Lighter, which is clearly disappointed that Leo hasn't been. Phoebe meets with the investigator, who drinks her potion unawares and chokes, but turns out not to be a demon. He tells her she should be afraid of Cole, because he has a very dark side (they found blood stains and his ritual cabinet of occult material). The investigator thinks the Phoebe knows more than she's letting on and warns Phoebe that Cole could hurt her or hurt her sisters. Piper, Prue, Leo, and Natalie are researching powers and Warlocks. He evidently has the powers of deflection, cloning, transmogrification (ability to change shape or form). Piper is annoyed because Leo and Natalie obviously work very well together, completing each other's sentences and thoughts. The sisters want to know what Aimes' master plan is, but Natalie doesn't think he has one, or doesn't know. Piper gets so annoyed at Natalie when Natalie wants to talk to Leo about the problem that she freezes Natalie. Leo believes that Natalie's introduction of some order and discipline isn't such a bad idea, but Prue and Piper think she is second guessing them. Natalie is considered one of the top White Lighters up there, she follows the rules. Leo talks with Piper about this, claiming, 'if you want to freeze me while we are in bed for your own personal pleasures, that's fine, but freezing Natalie won't make her or the Elders happy'. Piper isn't jealous of Natalie but rather of the fact that she shares a part of Leo's life she doesn't share. Phoebe comes home and wants to talk with Leo about something. Phoebe come home and is filled in on what is going on. Prue is scurrying for Aime's power and finds it. Phoebe gets a premonition of Aimes killing a male 'Witch' and they are ready to go. Natalie is cautious and wants to wait and plan, she goes to talk with the Elders, but as soon as she goes, the sisters go after Aimes. At the docks, Aimes is chanting when the Charmed Ones show up and attack him. Suddenly a Dark Lighter shows up asking why he was summoned. He attacks Leo, who runs. Aimes returns and kills the Dark Lighter, taking his crossbow (with it's ability to kill White Lighters) as a prize and leaves. The sisters return to the manor where Natalie returns and they explain what happened to her. She is not pleased they ran off without waiting for her advice. She says they were reckless going off like that. The sisters head down to work going through the book and trying to come up with Aimes' master plan. Meanwhile, up there, Natalie and Leo are amongst other robed White Lighters. Leo and Natalie are talking about the Charmed ones, Leo backs them up, saying part of their greatness is their impulsiveness and instinct. Leo says their record speaks for itself, they took out Belthezar. Phoebe calls Leo and he comes to her to talk. She is obviously nervous and wants to make sure this is confidential. She tells him she didn't kill Cole. He doesn't believe it and is angry at Phoebe for what she has done. She thought that Leo would understand about forbidden love. But he says it is nothing like that. She says that she was hoping for guidance and support for Leo, but he doesn't know what to do. He walks out. Suddenly Leo falls in pain, one of his charges is being killed and he feels it. He prepares to go to help his charge. Aimes is killing his charge, but doesn't kill her. He is after a White Lighter. Prue stops Leo from leaving just in time. Aimes is evidently out to get the power to orb up there and kill all White Lighters. The Elders have recalled all White Lighters except Leo and Natalie. Natalie reminds Leo that the greater good must come first. Aimes is annoyed that the White Lighter hasn't shown up, so he kills the witch, which Leo feels. The sisters go to talk with Leo. He has decided that he has become too close to the issue, he is going to join the rest of the White Lighters in the lock down. Phoebe is worried it is because of what she told him, but he says it isn't. As he leaves, Natalie begins to work with the Charmed Ones, telling them they must prepare for combat, starting with their attire. 'No more bra-less, strapless, fearless attire,' she says. To which Prue claims, 'Ok, but then I have nothing to wear'. The Charmed ones train, using their powers and physical skill to combat Aimes. She reminds them to keep their eyes on the prize of getting his crossbow, not to vanquish Aimes. But if they have the chance, to do it. Great sequence of training shots as the sisters show off their powers and abilities. Back at P3, the sisters are working on the vanquishing spells. Prue admires Natalie's professionalism, but Piper is still annoyed at her. Natalie offers to use herself as bait to lure Aimes in, where the Sisters will be waiting. The plan works, and the sisters got the crossbow, but Aimes gets away. Prue says it doesn't feel right though, but they accomplished the goal of getting the prize so they return to the Manor, where Natalie waits. Prue still feels something is wrong, Aimes fled. Natalie starts to realize what is going on, that Aimes didn't fight at all. Suddenly the crossbow turns into Aimes, who defeats the Charmed ones and stabs Natalie with the poisoned arrow and then vanishes. The sisters call Leo, who was watching them. There is only one option, break the rules, big time. Natalie is dying, and Aimes gets her power after taunting her about her death, and with the crossbow orbs up there. When he gets there, he attacks the first White Lighter he sees, but the crossbow bolt freezes in midair. The Sisters are there, and manage to impale him on the bolt. Then they cast their spell and vanquish him. While they are sorry they couldn't save Natalie, Leo knows she would be pleased to know she died for the greater good. They leave, and Piper is worried that they will not remember the trip, just like her last time. But Leo assures her they will this time. Relaxing at P3, the Sisters are worried about the rules Leo broke to save everyone up there. Leo arrives and talks with Phoebe, he says he should have been watching more carefully but that it won't happen again. He says that after what all has happened, the Elders have lifted his and Piper's probation, they are officially engaged!
"Wrestling with the Demons" Thanks to Phoebe's premonition, the sisters are trying to stop a demon from killing a man. Daryl is trying to convince the man to let the police put him in protective custody, but the man refuses protection and leaves. Phoebe appears to be enthusiastic to take down whatever demon she saw (she says as a way to put Cole behind her), and the sisters follow the man until he is attacked by a young man. Prue protects the innocent and attacks the demon, but before she can vanquish him, she hesitates. She knows him and in fact she dated him. He was evidently the star football player in college, but blew out his knee shortly into his rookie season. From there he dissapeared with gambling debts. Leo orbs in after Prue calls, but he has bad news. Leo lost Piper's ring, their mother's ring she had given to him to give her at the right time. He tells Prue and the others about a demon academy, where humans who are down on their luck strike a Faustian deal and enter into a training program that beats humanity out of them. They graduate by killing an innocent and sealing their deal. Prue is adamant that her old boyfriend (Tom) will not go over to the other side. Meanwhile in an office somewhere, the leader of the academy (Kelman) is talking to one of his students, claiming his debt is due. Kelman sends the young man away as Tom enters. Tom tells him of the witches intervention and Kelman tells him to kill a random person he sees in the news paper to complete his transition. Phoebe and Leo are talking about Cole, Leo tells her that she needs to tell Prue and Piper, but Phoebe is reluctant because she knows it will not go over well. Leo tells her she can't pretend it didn't happen. Phoebe says she can't change the fact that it did. Piper and Phoebe are trying to find Tom, they need a Spell. Phoebe gets the 'Lost and Found' spell she had written to try and help her find Cole. As they talk about the spell, Phoebe tells Piper that she let Cole escape. Piper is shocked and surprised at this and can not understand what Phoebe did. Piper accuses Phoebe of having a guilty conscious and that this is why she has been so eager to fight demons recently. Piper tells Phoebe that she has to tell Prue, but Phoebe says that Prue won't understand. "She's not the only one," Piper replies. Prue is talking to Tom's mother, finding out about what happen after Tom hurt himself. Tom's mother has been waiting for him for six years to return. She obviously loves him deeply, claiming that her son is a good man. Piper and Phoebe cast the lost and found spell as Prue returns home. Piper drops a number of hints, trying to get Phoebe to confess. The sisters talk about what to do if they find Tom, and Prue is adamant that they can save him. Suddenly a paper arrives, a clue as to who the next victim will be, a result of the spell they cast. They leave to save the innocent and get there just in time to stop Tom from killing her. Capturing him, they bring him back to the manor. At the manor, Piper tries to get Phoebe to confess again, but she avoids the subject. Phoebe wants to vanquish Tom now, and Prue accuses her of wanting to save Cole when he was the demon hybrid in question. Phoebe says she learned from her mistake, you can't save a demon. Unfortunately, they soon discover their spell has some unexpected consequences as everything they ever lost suddenly starts to show up: their grandmother's dog, old friends, pencils, socks, the ring that Piper had given Leo. Phoebe also looses her new Blond hair as she goes near the sink where she lost her brown hair. Prue allows Tom to escape so she can track down his manager. They follow him back to Kelman, where the soon find the underground training academy where all recruits are trained and their humanity is beaten out of them. The young man who had failed Kelman earlier is taken into a large wrestling ring, where a large man (professional wrestler) beats the humanity out of him. At the end the man is pinned to the mat and falls into a hellish inferno. Tom talks with Kelman, offering the three witches, but Kelman smells humanity on Tom and says he needs a refresher course. The sisters arrive and watch as Tom is sent into the ring to meet the same fate. Before Tom is defeated though, Piper freezes everyone and the sisters intervene. However, Kelman and the other full demons are unaffected. Leo can't sense the Charmed Ones and is concerned about them. He orbs in to talk with Morris and soon disappears to find them. Prue bluffs, knowing that Kelman has a deadline he has to meet and that if Tom doesn't convert Kelman would be punished by the Source. Piper freezes Tom, which means he can't kill anyone. She claims that if anything happens to her, Tom would stay frozen indefinitely. Prue offers Kelman a deal. The sisters will fight in the ring. If they win, they get Tom, if they loose Kelman gets them. Phoebe and Piper aren't too thrilled at the idea, but go along with it. As they prepare for battle, Phoebe finally confesses to Prue about Cole still being alive. Prue can't believe this, but before she can complain further, Kelman introduces the demons they will be fighting, two extremely large wrestlers. Prue and Phoebe fight the wrestlers, taking a number of blows but dealing out as well as they get using their limited powers. Suddenly Kelman calls Piper's bluff and stabs her in the back, she falls to the ground dying as Prue and Phoebe begin to loose in the ring. Kelman takes Tom away to see his mother (to kill her and complete his conversion). Phoebe gets pinned and the portal to the hellish inferno begins to open under her, but Prue breaks away from her wrestler and saves her. They pin the demonic wrestlers, who are cast into the inferno. The sisters rush to help Piper, who is quickly dying. They drag her back up into Kelman's office, where Leo has been searching for them; he heals Piper. Tom's mother is the key to saving Tom, which is the best way to defeat Kelman. Prue and Phoebe have a brief argument about Cole, but Prue just wants to save Tom. Everyone gathers at the Manor, where lost souls from the 'Lost and Found' spell are starting to gather. Tom finally comes around as he sees his mother being attacked by Kelman. In the end, Tom kills Kelman, vanquishing him. Phoebe reverses the lost and found spell to remove all of the lost souls. Tom returns to being fully human once again and embraces his mother, who tells him everything alright. Piper and Leo head out for dinner, their mother's ring in its proper place on Piper's finger. Prue and Phoebe talk about everything that went on, and the choice Phoebe made that betrayed them. Prue is still hurt by what Phoebe did, she doesn't understand how Phoebe could have lied to them. "Where do we go from here?" asks Phoebe sadly, to which Prue answers somberly, "I don't know".
"Bride and Gloom"
Phoebe is in bed watching her favorite movie, "Kill it Before it Dies". As Billy and Sally Mae go off screen, Cole appears in the movie, a trick he learned from the demon of illusion. He thought that would be a safe way to let Phoebe know that he was back, for good. Prue and Justin (from Coyote Piper) are exiting P3 after their date. Justin thought that Prue was silent the entire time and wonders if Prue had a problem with him. They have lunch scheduled for tomorrow. As Justin leaves, Prue removes her coat and heads back into P3. Piper and Leo talk to her, wondering if she was going to invite him to the wedding. Prue claims that Justin is predictable, she wants something a bit more spontaneous. Leo obviously wants a smaller, more intimate wedding, Piper however wants a fabulous wedding and they have a meeting with a wedding planner. Prue tries to explain to Leo about the Cinderella Complex, every girl dreams of her wedding being perfect. She comments to Leo that as the oldest, she regrets not being the one to be married first. Leo tries to change the subject to Phoebe, telling her that she should forgive Phoebe. Prue obviously has problems with this and still hasn't forgiven her sister. Meanwhile, a shape shifting warlock has followed the sisters. Taking the shape of Piper, he borrows Prue's lipstick and takes it back to an unholy altar and an evil priestess. The evil priestess uses Prue's lipstick to create a potion that will paralyze Prue. The warlock intends to marry Prue with the priestess' help. The warlock wants to know what the priestess gets out of it, but she claims that she is a humble servant of the Source and only gets the benefits they all get when good is turned to evil. However, when pressed, she does admit to wanting the Charmed One's book of Shadows, the most magical of all tomes. Her goal is to turn the sisters evil and thus the book so that she can touch it since evil can not. Piper and Leo are talking with the wedding coordinators, Piper wants as traditional a wedding as possible. Leo obviously has problems with this, claiming he wants pigs in a blanket as an appetizer. He knows that a large wedding is a disaster waiting to happen, a white lighter marrying a witch is hardly traditional. Phoebe is heading out when Prue offers her a ride, saying they could talk and try and put the whole Cole thing behind them. Prue goes to meet Justin (he was supposed to pick her up, but his car broke down). Meanwhile Phoebe has gone to the mausoleum where she last saw Cole and they move close to each other. Cole says endearingly, 'I knew you'd know where to find me.' Phoebe responds by punching him in the jaw! "That was for ruining my favorite movie, and oh yeah, my life too,' she says. Phoebe says she is over him and wants nothing to do with him, but he doesn't believe it. Cole says he took a huge risk coming out in the open to contact her. He has been shimmering from realm to realm to realm to keep the Source from realizing he wasn't vanquished, and that Phoebe is the only one that knows he is still alive. Phoebe surprises him by saying that he's wrong, her sisters know he's still alive, she couldn't keep lying to them. Cole understands, but is mad when he learns that Leo also knows he is still alive. Cole wants to find a way to make them work, but Phoebe says good and evil can't work together. Cole claims he can suppress his evil side, he can be good. But Phoebe says it is too late. Justin and Prue meet at the restaurant, but it turns out to be the shape shifting warlock as Justin. When Phoebe comes home, she sees Justin and gets concerned. She and Piper begin to think that there is something seriously wrong. Warlock Justin wants a kiss, and when Prue kisses him, they are instantly taken to the black altar, and Prue is paralyzed as the Warlock reveals himself and the priestess performs the ritual to marry them and turn her evil. Piper and Phoebe are worried since they can not find Prue with their powers. Leo orbs in and says that he can not find her either. However, she is not dead, Leo says that the Elder's would know that, no matter what. They realize that whoever is after Prue wants the Power of Three and is keeping her alive to get to them. Phoebe gets an idea when Leo says that he wishes they hadn't vanquished the Demonic Bounty Hunter, he could come in handy. The Priestess is marrying the warlock to Prue, her transformation will be completed at sundown. The priestess kisses the warlock and paralyses him, she is tired of bestowing power on others, she wants it all for herself. Phoebe has gone to see Cole, she wants him to help them to find Prue. He says they probably want their book, 'we all want your book'. He goes to check around, despite the risk of letting the demons find out he is still alive. Phoebe wants her sister back, no matter what the cost. In a brief moment, Phoebe grabs Cole and kisses him passionately, 'I don't know where that came from' she says. At the manor, the sisters start to realize what is happening, as new spells have started to show up in the Book of Shadows. Piper blinks into the kitchen. Leo is concerned because only Warlocks blink. Phoebe shows up, but instead of being worried, she thinks it is 'cool'. 'They are always trying to get one of ours, it's about time we got one of theirs,' she claims. Phoebe blinks as well, and Piper and Phoebe start blinking around the house. Leo is concerned, he realizes what is happening. As Leo is trying to help them, the door rings. The wedding planners show up. Piper uses her new powers to turn one into a pig in the blanket, and then freezes the other one (freeze as in frozen in ice). Leo is still mad, but before he could do anything, they turn him into a stick in the mud. Piper and Phoebe want to find Prue, because if what is happening to them is happening to her, then the power of three would be incredible. Piper returns Leo to normal. Suddenly, Leo gets a call from 'THEM'. They have revoked his assignment because the sisters have given in to evil and relinquished their right to a White Lighter. Phoebe goes to change, she says she can't wreak havoc dressed like she is. Cole is waiting for her upstairs. Cole is worried, he says if what he heard is true, Prue has been forced to marry a warlock. 'Figures that bitch would steal Piper's thunder,' Phoebe claims. Cole explains what this means and would do, but Phoebe kisses him, asking him why he doesn't want her evil. Cole says the only way they can be together is if they are both good. 'There is no such thing as evil love', he explains, 'only gratification and lust' Phoebe wants Belthezar back, and starts attacking Cole until he turns into his demonic half. Piper interrupts, and Belthezar leaves, claiming the Priestess is coming for their book. The Priestess goes to the attic and takes the book, but Phoebe and Piper are waiting and attack her. They want Prue, but the priestess doesn't talk. They begin to torture her, freezing her hand and shattering it. Suddenly Leo returns, but distracts the sisters enough for the priestess to escape. Mad, Piper freezes Leo and Phoebe smashes him completely. Suddenly Phoebe and Piper realize that they can blink to get to Prue. The priestess wakes the warlock and Prue to attack Phoebe and Prue. Prue throws them with her power. They decide to get her a divorce, and they turn their attention to the warlock. However, the warlock shape shifts into Prue's form so that they will not know who to kill. One of Prues says to the other, 'I love you', to which the other responds, 'you too.' Phoebe remembers what Cole said, that evil is incapable of love. They kill the warlock and break the spell, returning Prue to normal. Then using the Book of Shadows, they destroy the priestess. Piper realizes what happened, that they killed Leo. Back at the manor Piper is crying over the spot where she killed him. But Leo orbs in, killing the warlock reversed all that they had done while evil. Leo says it's ok what happened, it wasn't the real them. But Prue asks if it wasn't. She says she felt it deep down, and that on some level, the evil had to be in all of them to be turned. Leo says it doesn't make her evil though, you have to choose to be evil voluntarily. If evil wasn't enticing, there wouldn't be evil. Prue says that after taking a trip down the evil, she can understand it better and is a little softer on Phoebe about the whole Cole issue. In the end, Phoebe doesn't tell them about Cole. She goes to the mausoleum to meet Cole. She says everything's back to normal and thanks him for his help. However it isn't enough for Phoebe, it doesn't change her mind about her and Cole. She says she loves him and always will, nothing will change that. However, the temptation is just too much, she can't take that risk for her or for her sisters. Cole says again that he's not evil, and Phoebe says that somewhere deep down he is, and that he can't change that. As she leaves, Cole calls out that he's not giving up, he's not going away.
"The Good, The Bad, and The Cursed" Victor has taken Phoebe out to a deserted town to see if she could get some sort of a physic reading on the place. He is evidently interested in investing in the area, but other investors seem to have stayed because of ghost stories. The small town looks exactly like a ghost town out of the old movies too. As Phoebe and her father are walk around, he begins to ask her questions about Leo, he obviously doesn't know that Leo is a White Lighter. Phoebe begins to hear things such as music and door slamming. Phoebe suddenly sees a ghost like image of an Indian (Bo) and an old cowboy fighting. The cowboy punches Bo, who staggers through Phoebe. As Bo and the cowboy run off, Phoebe's father notices that his daughter's lip has been cut, exactly where the cowboy had punched Bo. At the manor, Piper and Phoebe are setting the table for the rehearsal dinner when Leo orbs. As they all talk, Phoebe and their father return and Phoebe tells them how she got the cut lip. Leo goes to heal Phoebe, but she stops him since her father doesn't know Leo's a White lighter. When she tells everyone this, everyone (except Piper) is extremely surprised. She claims she hasn't found the right time, especially since their mother fell in love with her White Lighter. Victor manages to convince Leo to go to lunch with him and leave the 'paranormal' activities to the professionals. They leave, and Piper is obviously concerned. At lunch, Leo and Victor talk. Victor tells Leo it isn't easy to be married to a witch, he says he wasn't prepared for what was to come. He warns him, saying that there are things out there worse than demons and warlocks....White Lighters. He blames White Lighters for the reason he and Patty never got back together. At the manor, Phoebe has gotten a huge bruise, probably the same way she got the split lip. She is connected to Bo. As they go through the papers, they learn that nothing happened in the town after a certain date. They realize that it is probably a time loop, which can be caused when a great injustice has occurred as a curse until the injustice has been righted. Suddenly the door rings and Prue goes to answer it. Cole goes flying across the hallway, he was the one that knocked on the door. Cole gets up and gives Phoebe some flowers. He says that he told Phoebe last week that he wasn't going away and that he meant it. Phoebe obviously wants nothing to do with him. However, Cole says he is not using his powers, it keeps him from being evil. Phoebe tells Cole to get out when she suddenly gets a premonition of Bo getting shot. Phoebe collapses, with a gunshot wound where Bo got hit. At the dinner, Victor is warning Leo about the dangers of a White Lighter when Leo suddenly gets a physic call telling him that Phoebe needs him. He tells Victor he has to leave, but that Victor isn't going to like how he has to leave. To Victor's shock, Leo orbs out. As Leo arrives, he sees Cole and demands to know what he's doing here. But his attention is quickly turned to Phoebe. He tries to heal her, but he can't. It isn't a physical injury, more like a physic echo. Cole says the only way to help Phoebe is to find and help Bo. Although Prue doesn't want Cole's help, he says that he can help save Phoebe. Bo's cursed town obviously exists on a parallel plane, and Cole says he can shift from plane to plane. He can't take Leo with him to heal Bo, Leo isn't allowed to work with a demon. Prue volunteers to go with him, she isn't about to leave it up to Cole. Phoebe tells Cole and Prue to play nice, and they shimmer out of the plane. Victor comes charging into the manor, mad at Leo. Piper tells him to stay with Phoebe and she and Leo orb to the ghost town to see if they can find anything to help. Prue and Cole are in the town in the wild, wild west. They manage to get clothes (Cole's off of a dead guy). At the saloon, Prue and Cole are told to get out of town as soon as possible, trouble is brewing with a powerful man in town (Sutter) and that there is going to be hell to pay. Sutter enters the bar, stereotypical bad guy dressed all in black. He is looking for Bo, he is going to kill him at sundown. Sutter questions Bo's older sister, but she refuses to tell him where Bo is. Everyone is obviously afraid of Sutter. Prue decides she can't just stand by, and she stands up to Sutter. Prue fights Sutter's man and Cole covers the others with a shotgun. Sutter's men retreat from the saloon. Bo's sister talks to Prue and Cole, saying that she will take them to Bo (Bo evidently sees the future in his dreams, he has a gift) and he foresaw that two strangers would come to help him. The story is that Sutter owns the town through intimidation. Bo evidently wouldn't back down to him, which is why Sutter wants him dead. However the rest of the town won't follow his lead. Cole says he still thinks they should take out the threat, kill Sutter and his men. Prue accuses him that if he wants to try his hand at being good, his first instinct shouldn't be to kill. As they go to meet Bo they are followed by one of the young townsmen. At the ghost town, Piper and Leo are searching the saloon. They find a paper that says Bo will die at Sundown. They have to warn Prue and Cole they don't have until midnight to save Bo and Phoebe. Leo has an idea that since Phoebe is connected to Bo, she might be able to get a message to him through a premonition. Back in the west, Cole and Prue are ready to meet Bo. Prue obviously does not like Cole and tells him he'll have to leave when this is over, or they will have the vanquish him like they should have done in the first place. But Cole says they will have to, since that is the only way she can keep him from Phoebe. Bo is skeptical about the two, he can sense that Cole is evil, but he can't say the same about Prue. After displaying their powers to Bo, he begins to trust them. Sutter is mad at Bo because he is giving the town's people ideas. The young town man who followed Prue and Cole comes and tells Sutter where Bo is hiding. Phoebe and Bo suddenly get a premonition of a future in which Sutter kills Bo. They also see visions of each other. Bo says that he now believes what Prue has told him. Phoebe felt everything, she is in tremendous pain. Victor accuses Leo of not being able to do anything, but Leo says he is doing something, he's trusting Prue. He knows that everyone feels helpless about what is going on. Leo also says that they have to trust Cole, because as much as Leo hates to admit it, that demon loves Phoebe and took a huge risk in coming there to prove that to her. He knows that Cole won't let Phoebe die. Phoebe agrees with Leo, saying that she knows it's true because Cole loves her as much as she loves him. In the town, Prue tells Cole that they can't just save Bo, they have to save the town from the curse. Cole is surprised that she is willing to sacrifice her sister for a town full of cowards, but Prue claims there is a greater good that needs to be served. If Cole expects to be good, she says, he has to understand that. Bo surrenders to Sutter's men, he says that the curse is about the town who stood there and let him die. He has to give the town the chance. Sutter's men drag him into town, where Bo is whipped and tortured, Phoebe feeling every lash that Bo takes. Everyone is the town stands around and watches. As Sutter draws a gun and prepares to kill Bo, the bartender takes out a shotgun, shoots Sutter's gun, and tells Sutter to stop. Slowly the rest of the town draws their weapons and defend Bo. Sutter tries to run, Prue hot on his tail. Prue catches him and after shooting him, throws him through the door to the Sheriff's office. But it isn't over. Cole and one of Sutter's men are shooting it out in the saloon. Cole is out of bullets and the outlaw is about the kill him, when Cole uses his power and throws a ball of lightning which engulfs the man in flames. Unfortunately for him, Prue comes in at the last minute and witnesses what he did, and his laughing over the man's predicament. "Like I said, once a demon, always a demon." At the manor, Cole and Prue return to find Phoebe perfectly fine. As the family goes to sit down for the rehearsal dinner, Cole says he should be going, and Prue says that would be best. But Phoebe tells him that he is going anywhere. He doesn't want to cause any trouble, but Phoebe kisses him and tells him, "you are staying, and that is that."
"Just Harried" Prue and Phoebe are decorating for Piper's wedding the following day. Grams is giving them directions as Prue checks off of her checklist. Prue yawns and Phoebe says she's been yawning all night long. Prue says she has had problems sleeping because of a recurring dream in which she is with this dangerous biker guy. Piper comes down and says everything looks wonderful, but she still wishes her mother could be there. Piper also says she is surprised this is actually happening, and that if one more thing went wrong (demon, warlock, etc) that she was going to call off the wedding. Asleep in her bed, Prue has her recurring dream again, complete with the dangerous biker guy. Prue comments that what she wants is to just get away, leave her responsibilities and duties behind and just go to a place where there are no rules where she can make her own choices, but she can not. As she leaves, the guy she won money from in a pool game earlier comes looking for it, but she fights him off and knocks him out. Afterwards she is suddenly drawn back into Prue just like when Prue's astral self returns. The next morning, the sisters are all giddy at Piper's wedding. Prue admits that she had her dream again and Piper is concerned it might be something demonic. Back at the bar, the police are investigating a murder. They have camera footage of Prue fighting with the victim. As the police question the biker that Prue was with, another man comes up and says he saw what happened and identifies Prue as the murderer. Prue and Phoebe are still preparing for the wedding. Phoebe has found Melinda Warren's blessing cup and plan to give it to Piper as something old. Phoebe comments that they should wait until Cole arrives to help them set up. Prue has reservations about Cole being there, but before they can continue the conversation, Piper screams as Leo has arrived and she doesn't want him to see her or her dress before the wedding. Leo has brought his formal White Lighter robes to wear, but Prue and Phoebe insist that he go a bit more traditional, they rented him a tux. Victor arrives, but Prue suddenly gets a headache and has to sit down. She comments she's been getting them ever since the dreams began, but when Leo presses to find out about the dreams, she says it is nothing to worry about. Victor and Leo go down into the basement to change. Victor comments that Leo rented a tux, he felt sure Leo would want to wear those robes White Lighters are so fond of. Leo says he thought he would go more traditional. Phoebe goes to Prue and says that Prue can not fool her, she knows something is wrong. Prue tells Phoebe about her dreams, they wonder if the dream sorcerer might be back. Despite their fears, they remember Piper's comment that if one more thing went wrong, she would call off the wedding. Prue relinquishes control to Phoebe (a sign she must really be in bad shape) and goes to get some rest. She isn't supposed to fall asleep, but she does and soon is back in the bar where she meets her friend. He says if she really wants to lead a life with no rules or responsibilities, this is her chance, and they go off together. But the police arrive and arrest Prue. At the manor, Phoebe finds Prue asleep and wakes her up. Prue's astral self disappears from police custody and is back in bed. She tells Phoebe what happened, how her dream overpowered her and didn't want her to wake up (just like Phoebe's premonition). They still don't realize it is Prue's Astral self and head towards the attic and the Book of Shadows. They debate telling Piper, but Prue won't have this being the one thing that ruins the wedding. As they get to the stairs, Piper sees them and says she can see it in their faces and that after three years of demon hunting she knows they are heading towards the attic. Phoebe quickly covers, saying they are going to the attic, but to look for something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. As Prue says she has nothing to worry about and it is going to be a demon free day, Cole shimmers in, startling them. Phoebe reminds Cole of his promise not to use his demonic powers. In the basement, Victor and Leo talk as they finish changing. Victor questions weather it is hard on Leo's pride living off the girls since he has no real job. Victor admits that he doesn't like the idea of his daughter marrying a White Lighter, he would prefer her to marry a mortal. Leo says he's sorry about what happened between Victor and Patty (the sister's mother), but that he loves Piper and will continue to love her in this life, the afterlife, and what ever comes after that. Nothing Victor can do will change that or stop him from marrying Piper. Victor gives, smiles, and finally admits that he probably could get used to having a White Lighter as a son in law. Cole comes down to ask if everyone is having fun, and Leo asks Victor where he stands on demons. In her changing room, Piper is putting on her earrings when her mother suddenly appears. She says she isn't a ghost and that the Elders sent her as a gift after all they put Piper and Leo through. Piper almost cries as she talks about how she kept her mother's wedding album and looked at it every night dreaming. Patty tells Piper she is the heart of the family and they embrace. Prue and Phoebe come in to see their mother. Patty tells Prue how it is unfair what she had to do, but Prue says she just wanted to make her proud. Patty tells Prue she protected the family better than she ever could and that she is so proud of her. To her youngest daughter, she admits that Phoebe's road has been the longest. But Patty was never worried, she had a premonition the day Phoebe was born of her three daughters standing before this day. At the wedding, Grams is ready to start when Daryl arrives. He's sorry he was late, but he was covering for Prue, whom he claims is a murder suspect who escaped Police custody. She thought it wasn't real, but it turns out it is. She decides to get through the wedding and then sort everything out. Grams tells Victor to move to make room for Patty. Victor is stunned and wants to know who brought his X-wife back from the dead. Grams says not now. She knows they have issues, but that is what the reception is for. The music starts and Piper comes down the stairs. As she arrives at the altar however and Prue and Phoebe are congratulating themselves on doing it, the door bursts open and Prue's biker friend rides into the house, destroying the decorations. Prue gets a headache and collapses as she astral projects next to herself. Astral Prue jumps on the bike and they ride off together, destroying the wedding cake as they make their escape. Piper is destroyed and speechless as she surveys the destruction. She calls the wedding off and flees as Prue lays unconscious on the floor. Phoebe tries to stop Piper, but Piper says she doesn't want to have to find a way to get married on her wedding day, that this was the final straw. Phoebe says she has never seen Piper so defeated. They find they can not wake Prue. Patty says that a part of Prue wanted to escape and used her Astral self to do it. Leo takes action, saying they have a wedding to save. Patty and Victor go to find Piper and bring her back, Phoebe hits the book of shadows to find a way to get Astral Prue back, and Leo and Cole go to the bar where the murder happened to do some investigating of their own (thought he wasn't supposed to work with evil?). Cole can sense human killers and he points out the large man who had identified Prue as the murderer earlier. Leo calls Daryl. Patty and Victor find Piper at P3. Victor says he was never very good at talking with little girls, he always says the wrong thing. They try to comfort Piper. She says she is sorry that she let everyone down. Piper is worried that she will end up like her mother and Victor, saying that as Halliwells they are blessed as witches but cursed as women. Patty can't say anything, but Victor says they weren't cursed, and that the time he spent with Patty were the best days her his life. Phoebe finds a way to summon Astral Prue back, and pulls her back just as Astral Prue and her biker friend are starting to get intimate. Astral Prue feels it coming and says she won't go back, but the spell is too strong and summons her back. Astral Prue tries to leave, but Phoebe fights her. Astral Prue says she (Prue) is all about duty and responsibility, but that she (Astral Prue) just wants to be free. They argue about responsibility and freedom (bring up such issues as Phoebe's responsibleness when she fell in love with a demon). Astral Prue says that she was rooting for Phoebe, that Phoebe risked everything for love and that that is what she wants to be able to do. Phoebe realizes what is going on. Astral Prue and Prue are the Id and Ego of Prue. Astral Prue is Prue's subconscious. Phoebe realizes that what Prue did, the sacrifices she made for her family, are destroying her. Prue needs to find the passion and purpose that Piper and Phoebe have found. Astral Prue return to Prue, who wakes up. As they look over the wreckage of the wedding, the lights suddenly go out and the police storm the house, arresting Prue for murder. At the bar, Daryl, Cole, and Leo are stalking the killer. Cole decides to confront the victim, telling the others to meet him out front in five. Cole talks to the man, predicting he will give him a confession. The man throws Cole and draws a switchblade on him. Cole taunts the man, asking if that was the knife he killed the man with. The two fight, and Cole overpowers him and suddenly shifts in the Belthezar. He tells him to confess or deal with his demon side. Daryl comes out and Belthezar holds the man up, saying he's ready to talk. The family is trying to fix the wedding ceremony, the police cut the power line and the house is still dark. Prue and Daryl return, but everyone is still waiting on Piper. They are not sure if she is going to return. Suddenly she walks in and asks what everyone is waiting for. They all take their places. Victor talks to Leo, saying he noticed Leo doesn't have a best man, but he would be glad to step in. Without any power, there is no light and no music. However Grams fixes that with her magic, causing wind chimes to sound. Leo uses his to create orbs of light hovering over them. Grams marries them, each reciting their own vows. As the clock strikes mides midnight, they kiss and are married as soul mates.
"Death Takes a Halliwell" Phoebe is playing in the sand at a beach while Prue takes photographs of the beach and ocean. Phoebe wants to stay and relax and have fun and relax (they are giving Piper and Leo time alone), but Prue obviously isn't thrilled about that idea, she doesn't like the beach. Evidently Grahms brought the girls to the beach after their mother died to try and cheer them up. They go to leave, but before they do, Prue sees a woman taking pictures of her and Phoebe. As Prue takes pictures of the woman, she notices a dark shadow (obviously demonic) hovering near the woman. She tries to warn the woman, who runs off. Meanwhile, two men (obviously super-natural because one floats) are investigating Cole Turner's old apartment, and talking with his old landlord. The begin to question the landlord and end up attacking her, biting the back of her neck to get the information from her. They are trying to find out if Belthezar is alive, but she didn't know, but she knew someone who might. Piper and Leo are preparing to go to a party thrown for them by his White Lighter friends. They orb out and Prue and Phoebe get down to trying to find the woman Prue saw. The doorbell rings, and it is the DA inspector looking for Cole Turner. He says he is looking for Cole and knows he is around because Cole's landlord was brutally murdered. The inspector describes what the police found and tells her to be horrified. He is out to get Cole and then he is coming back for Phoebe. As the inspector leaves, they notice the woman Prue saw at the beach, and Prue sees the shadow again (though Phoebe doesn't). Prue decides to follow her and protect her. At the mausoleum, Cole says he should run because it is getting dangerous. Phoebe doesn't want him to leave, but he says he has to in order to protect Phoebe. Phoebe admits that she loves Cole and that if she has to fight a few extra demons along the way, 'bring them on'. Phoebe describes the shadow Prue saw, but Cole doesn't know what it could be. The woman and the inspector are talking. The woman, Andrea, is a rookie, and is worried that her partner isn't telling her everything. He says he has seen things on this case that he just doesn't feel are right. She goes home, and Prue follows her inside. Back at Cole's old apartment, Phoebe and Cole and investigating. The place is obviously stirring up old memories and emotions for them both. Cole says this was the first place he had a glimpse of a normal life, and waking up here next to Phoebe made him feel not evil. Phoebe gets a premonition of the two evil agents killing Reese, the inspector. Prue was there, but instead of helping Reese, she turned her back. Phoebe describes the two, and Cole recognizes them as Seekers, but he doesn't know how to vanquish them. The two seekers were waiting on Andrea. They attack her before Prue can get to her. The two seekers disappear, but the shadow the Prue saw shows up and manifests itself into the form of a man who claims he is beyond Prue's powers. He is death. He takes the dead woman's spirit, and says he will be back. At the manor, Phoebe is looking through the Book of Shadows and finds the information on the Seekers, including a vanquish. Cole stays well clear of the Book, saying that the last time he touched it, the Book shocked him. Prue comes in and wonders why Cole is here with the book. Cole claims he is keeping his distance. Prue tells them about Andrea and how the Seekers killed her. Cole wants to deal with them on his own, but Phoebe won't let him go. Prue tells them about the shadow. She calls for Leo, who confirms that the Angel of Death does exist and that he was who Prue met. Cole says that Death isn't working with the Seekers, and Leo says that Death isn't evil. Prue disagrees, but Leo says she can't stop Death. Prue vows to protect Reese, but Phoebe tells Prue about her premonition. Cole listens to this and goes off. He shimmers away to take care of everything on his own. Reese is at the scene where Andrea died, talking with another investigator when he gets a page from Prue. As he goes to find a phone, he finds Cole, who tells him to forget about the Halliwells that it is him the inspector is looking for. Reese starts to arrest him, but Cole notices the seekers and grabs hold of Reese and shimmers away. They arrive in the mausoleum, and Cole says he has to protect Reese, though Reese is obviously worried about what is going on and is visibly shaken. At the manor, they realize that Reese is in danger and that Cole has obviously gone to protect Reese. They start to leave, but Prue astral projects to get their faster. At the mausoleum, the Seekers show up and confront Belthezar (spooking Reese even more). As they prepare to fight Belthezar, Prue shows up to help him (again spooking Reese). The Seekers accuse Belthezar of being in bed with a witch (though the wrong witch) and a fight ensues. During the fight, Death arrives to take Reese, and Prue tries to fight him, leaving Cole to fight the two seekers on his own. Prue can not touch Death though, who claims he never looses. Cole drives off the two Seekers, and Death vanishes. Back at the manor, Cole and Prue argue over what happened. Prue says she drove off Death, but Cole didn't see anything. Cole thought he was protecting the sisters, but Phoebe explains that had he lost to the Seekers, they would know everything about the Halliwells and could use that knowledge to defeat them. Leo goes to check with the elders as Reese wakes up (how much super natural experiences can this guy take). The inspector draws his gun (as Cole says, 'Inspector you are in a room with three witches and a demon, you really thing that gun is going to do you any good?') and wants to leave. Prue tries to explain to him that the Angel of Death is after him, which he doesn't believe. They let him leave, but Piper and Phoebe follow him. Prue decides to go over his head and conjures up the Angel of Death. When Death arrives, he mocks Prue, using the Death of Prue's mother to effect her. She claims she wants to protect Reese, but Death gets to the point, that Prue is mad at him for taking her mother. She wants to protect Reese so she can beat death, which she couldn't do for her mother. She claims death is the ultimate evil, but Death claims he isn't good or evil, he is inevitable. Death says she has to let Reese die, that she has to learn to accept death. Death takes Prue to show and teach her acceptance. Piper and Phoebe are following Reese, who is at Andrea's funeral. The two Seekers show up, and Reese agrees to go with them, away from the funeral and everyone else. Piper and Phoebe follow him, but the Seekers seal the door behind them. Reese tries to shoot the Seekers, but they aren't effected. As they prepare to kill him, Prue and Death show up, and Prue watches as the Seekers kill Reese, just like she did in Phoebe's premonition. Death takes Reese and Prue tells her sisters that Death brought her to witness Reese's time. Piper and Phoebe don't understand though, and Prue cries over Reese's body. At the manor, the Seekers show up to confront Cole. The fight erupts in the manor as Cole throws the Seekers across the room and they try and bite him. Cole throws energy at them, but they easily dodge it. As they prepare to kill him, the sisters arrive and attack the Seekers, using the Power of Three to vanquish them. Leo shows up at the end (as Piper says, he missed all the fun). The Elders knew that Prue had to learn the lesson by herself: that death is not the evil. The next morning, at the beach, Death shows up to talk with Prue. Although Prue accepts that death is not the evil, she still doesn't understand why she wasn't meant to fight the demons. Death says she was alone and out numbered and would have lost. He says that Prue's name was on his list after Reese if she hadn't stopped fighting him. Prue admits she been mad at Death for so long, ever since her mother died that she doesn't know how to be something else. Death says, 'you grieve, then you move on', and leaves Prue crying on the beach.
"Prewitched" Piper and Leo finally found a place where they could be alone....the shower. However, their bliss is interrupted by Phoebe who needs something from the bathroom. Later, Prue walks into their room (she knocked, but didn't wait for an answer) and Piper is annoyed again. Piper has had enough, she wants to move out. Piper explains that long ago, she and Prue had an apartment that they had to give up when Grahms got sick. However, Piper kept in touch with the friends that they turned it over to, and since those friends are moving out, Piper and Leo have first shot at picking up the lease. Leo is worried because the sisters didn't get their powers until they moved in together, he isn't sure what will happen if they split up again. Piper wants to start living their married lives. Of course, Piper asks what the chances are of pulling it off before the next demon attacks. Across town, a witch is chanting in ritual when she is interrupted by her cat, shadow. As she returns to her ritual, shadow knocks over some potions that cause him to turn into a man. He taunts the witch and then kills her. The next morning at the breakfast table, Phoebe mentions she is going shopping for some new shoes, but is reminded about their limited funds. Suddenly in the middle of passing papers and milk, Piper announces that she and Leo are moving out. Prue comments that they just do not live their for sentimental reasons but because they are strongest in the manor. Piper tries to deflect the conversation to Phoebe's move to New York, but Phoebe points out that was before they came into their destiny and six months after Grahms died. Phoebe asks Piper what Grahms would think of this. **FLASHBACK** Grahms is complaining about the Paper boy, but saying how nice it is to have Prue and Piper in the same place. Prue is talking on the phone about her impending wedding to Roger and Piper is telling Grahms that the doctor told her no caffeine. Piper heard that Prue say she is moving out and is concerned. She and Prue argue for a bit, but Grahms complains of chest pains and they stop fighting. The doorbell rings, it is two policemen with Phoebe in toe. Phoebe was caught shoplifting, though she tries to deny it. Grahms complains to Phoebe about her recklessness. She asks Phoebe about her future and her destiny. **FLASHFORWARD** Phoebe is trying on shoes at the mall when Shadow shoes up and attacks her. He uses the power of levitation on Phoebe (which he got from the witch he killed earlier) but Phoebe fights him off and kills him with the spiked heel of a shoe. Later, Piper and Leo are getting packing material when they are attacked by the same that Phoebe killed earlier. The man is fighting through Piper's freezes but she stabs him with the exact knife from the packing materials. **FLASHBACK** Grahms is trying to get a picture of the three girls, who are being extremely uncooperative. As they fight, Grahms has chest pains. She says not to call the doctor, and that all she wants is one lousy picture. They finally cooperate and Grahms takes the picture that eventually becomes the one of the three close together (even though originally they weren't) that sits in the manor. **FLASHFORWARD** Phoebe and Piper return home to talk with Prue. It turns out that each of them killed the same evil creature (warlock/demon). However, he still isn't dead and appears again and attacks them. However, he is once again easily defeated. They comment that it was too easy, like he wasn't even trying. They head up to consult the Book of Shadows. The book turns to a page to contact the dead. As they are gathering the material for the spell, Piper pulls out an old potion that was Grahms and says she wants to take it with her to remember Grahms by. They cast the spell and summon the spirit of the witch that was killed earlier. They tell her about the opponent, and she explains that it is Shadow, who was her familiar. He is a warlock now, what a familiar becomes when he betrays his witch. However, once a familiar becomes a warlock, it can become immortal by shedding all nine of its familiar lives. They realize all they have to do is not kill him another 5 times before the new moon. She tells them at its core, evil exists to spread loss. She tells them not to loose one another. **FLASHBACK** Grahms is talking to the spirit of Patty. She is saying she is having problem with her (Patty's) daughters. She wonders if the gift might be too much for them because she can't find a way to bring them together. She says their may only be one option if she can't find a way to bring them together. **FLASHFORWARD** Phoebe is attacked by Shadow, and accidentally kills him. She says it was an accident. They are stifled over how to deal with this warlock. During their conversation, Phoebe notices the boxes and realizes that Piper really is going to move out. Piper says they have lived apart before, but Prue says that was because their lives were apart, they are different now. Prue wants to talk it through and discuss all the consequences. **FLASHBACK** Piper and Prue go for a walk to talk. Prue asks Piper to be her maid of honor. Obviously Prue and Phoebe aren't getting along together very well. Piper is worried because Phoebe is out of control and Prue will be moving in with Roger, leaving Piper to help Grahms. Piper says she (Piper) is probably just being jealous because Prue has this great guy and Piper thinks she isn't good with guys and will never find true love. She bumps into this man and apologizes, but she and Prue keep walking. The guy turns out to be Leo. **FLASHFORWARD** The sisters are having lunch and talking about the life changes. Prue is mostly concerned about super natural ramifications. Suddenly Shadow shows up and taunts them. However, he has it figured out even better and Shadow grabs a waitress and stabs her. Phoebe angrily grabs a knife and kills the warlock and the sisters try and help the waitress. Later, they are talking about how Shadow killed the waitress and how he will keep killing and they can't stop him. **FLASHBACK** Grahms is making some sort of a potion when Piper joins her. They decide to whip up some chocolate cake when Phoebe heads out, giving them both the cold shoulder. Piper helps Grahms with the potion (not knowing what needs to be added). Grahms said Piper was born for this, and wonders why she is spending time working behind a bank counter when she should be in the kitchen. Piper says she has to pay all the bills. As she leaves, Grahms fill a small potion bottle with the potion she was working on (the same on the Piper found in the attic later). Grahms says her girls aren't ready and that she has to stop them from becoming the Charmed Ones. **FLASHFORWARD** Shadow returns and after taunting them, he heads out to kill again. However, before he can leave, Prue sends a letter opener and kills him, giving him only one option. They go to consult the book. **FLASHBACK** Grahms is talking to Patty again. Patty is wondering why it has to be now. Grahms says she is not well and that when she dies they will inherit their powers (See that 70's Episode). Patty says it is what they were born to be, but Grahms demands to know who they are to decide if they should be witches. Grahms has chest pains again, but tells Patty she can't put them directly in harms way. Patty leaves and Grahms puts the Book of Shadows in the chest and steels herself for what she is about to do. She leaves the attic, locking it behind her. However, as she goes down the stairs, her chest pains return, and she falls down the stairs to her death. Phoebe, Prue, and Piper gather round her, but there is nothing they can do. **FLASHFORWARD** They have killed the warlock again, that time was number eight. They come up with the idea of showing him what death is really like, the idea of trapping him in the one moment he feels death and magnifying it nine times. **FLASHBACK** Piper picks up the potion Grahms was working on and she and Prue talk. Piper wonders what Grahms was doing up in the attic when she had always told them the attic was sealed off. She is obviously shaken by what has happened. The funeral arrangements, the lawyers, the doctors, and everything. Phoebe is sitting in the living room, and wonders what their future holds in store. Grahms was the only reason they were all still together. Phoebe admits that she is getting out of here, she is headed away to see what New York thinks of her. She hopes to find her destiny in New York. She leaves, and soon afterwards, Prue leaves to meet Roger, leaving Piper all alone in the house. **FLASHFORWARD** The sisters are prepared for Shadows return. Shadow taunts them again, but soon realizes that they are up to something. They kill him, but cast the spell and the warlock feels the pain of all nine of his deaths and is vanquished. Piper is moving out the next day, and she just wants to have a few moments alone. She walks around the house remembering everything. She pulls the potion she found and the list of ingredients that Grahms had brewed so long ago. The next morning as Leo packs the Jeep, Piper comes to talk with him. She says that something doesn't feel right. She wants them to move out, but she says when they moved back in together, they became sisters again, something they aren't ready to test. She hands the list of ingredients to Leo and says they both know what that potion would do to them. She says that the fact that Grahms was willing to keep them from being witches to keep them together means something. As they move back in, Prue and Phoebe tell her they have decided that Piper has to move into Prue's room (the larger room) and Phoebe is moving out of her bathroom. It is like having her own place, just with her sisters right down the hall. Upstairs, the book of Shadows closes and the Triquatra glows.
"Sin Francisco" Prue and Phoebe are out hunting evil. Prue's scurrying had detected a high concentration of unnatural activity in an area of the city. Phoebe is surprised that Phoebe went looking for evil even though Prue said she was going to find more balance in her life. Evidently Prue is feeling a bit less needed with Piper getting married and Phoebe finding Cole. Phoebe tries to say this is a good thing, but Prue isn't so sure. After finding nothing, Prue asks Phoebe how Cole is doing. Phoebe says he's shimmering in and out to avoid demonic bounty hunters (though he always finds a way to shimmer into the bedroom she comments). Phoebe is starting to wondering if he loves her or if he's just interested in sex. Suddenly their conversation is interrupted by an argument between a businessman and a disreputable looking individual. The business man is after a box the other man has, claiming that he needs more. The 'evil' looking guy claims you can never get enough greed, but Prue and Phoebe intervene, sending the box scattering through the street. The businessman, acting almost possessed runs after the box, but is promptly slammed by a bus. Morris and the rest of the police are investigating the death. They interview Prue and Phoebe. Morris thought it was a suicide, though Prue claims he was demonically driven. Morris says the man was an outstanding citizen: Married, two kids, good job, philanthropist. Prue said something must have changed in a hurry because that wasn't the man she saw because he was only interested in the box, which Prue now has. Phoebe is being interviewed by another officer. He hits on her, asking her out for dinner. While Phoebe is flattered, she says she is seeing someone at the moment. The two head to the manor to find out about Lucas (the name said by the demonic man) and the box. Elsewhere, Lucas is abusing the man for his failure and loosing the box. Lucas claims that although he has the business man's soul, he must deliver seven souls for seven sins. Because of the man's failure, Lucas has to find a way to get around the witches. Lucas said he is damned because he knows how sin warps human desires. Lucas decides that the way to get around the witches is to infect them with the sin, after all, they are human. In the end Lucas kills the man and sets about his plan. Back at the manor, the sisters find Piper making a large meal for Leo. She says she likes cooking for Leo, dressing up for Leo, taking care of Leo and all. Piper says she isn't going to give the elders a reason to take him away from them, she doesn't want to be complacent in their marriage. Phoebe tells Piper about what happened and the three of them go about figuring out the box. They call Leo. Piper fawns over Leo while Prue is still a little put off that they needed to call him (saying they can do just find without him). While this is going on, Phoebe is reminded that her ethics professor called and that she has an appointment. She goes to change into something more appropriate (less revealing) to meet with her professor. Prue and Piper check the Book of Shadows about the box, finding out that it is a Box of Sin. They are balls of sin that are used to corrupt paragons of good. Leo says that no one is immune to sin: Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed, Sloth. Whichever one the subject is predisposed to is the one that attacks them. They have to destroy the infector. While they are in the attic, Lucas appears and takes the box back, but he is interrupted by Phoebe. He infects Phoebe with one of the sins, and as the others return from the attic, he infects each of them as well before leaving. Feeling no effects, they surmise that being magical they are unaffected. Leo orbs to find out while Phoebe goes to her meeting and Piper and Prue go back to the book. While in her meeting with her ethics professor, Phoebe is suddenly overcome by her sin: Lust. She comes on strongly to her professor, forcing herself upon him as they fall to the ground. At the manor, Piper is hit by her sin: Gluttony. She is ordering from Bloomingdale's and indulging by drinking champagne. Prue stops her phone order just in time though. Evidently the sins work quickly, sending the victim to self destruction. Phoebe returns and tells Prue and Piper what happened: unzipping her professor's pants with her teeth. Prue says they were infected, and when Piper calls for Leo, Prue says he is in the living room watching TV. As Leo is stretched out on the TV, kicking back, the other sisters are overcome by their sins (Piper goes to get Leo chips, Phoebe wants MTV to check out the hot VJ's). Prue tries to keep it together, pointing out that they are giving in to their sins. Evidently Leo never made it up to talk with the Elders, he was too tired. Leo has been infected by Sloth. As the flowers Piper ordered for herself arrive, Phoebe hangs over the delivery man. Prue says that since she isn't showing any symptoms, she obviously wasn't effected. On the news, they hear that a pastor is holding a car dealer hostage and demanding a new jag. They guess he has been hit by Envy. Prue goes off to rescue the guy by himself. After they leave, Piper finds the home shopping channel and begins ordering. As the car dealership, Prue takes charge and goes into the situation despite Morris' recommendations. Phoebe sees the cute officer that hit on her earlier and goes after him. Prue heads into the dealership to deal with the situation. The pastor points a gun at Prue, who tries to use her power on him, but it doesn't work perfectly and he shoots at her. Prue emerges from the dealership, having handled the situation and is immediately hounded by the press for solving the situation. Morris tries to cover for her before she brags up a storm about what she has done. Morris starts to question Prue and realizes that she was shot. Suddenly Prue realizes that she has been infected by sin as well. She got Pride. She asks Morris to take care of the pastor and hide him. She goes to deal with Phoebe, who is making out with the cop. Morris suspends the officer for his indiscretions while Prue tries to take care of Phoebe. The cop is angry at Morris for suspending him when Lucas suddenly appears and infects him with Anger. At the manor, Phoebe and Prue discover that Piper has done more than a little shopping as luxuries of all type are scattered around the house: Big Screen TV, pashmina's, fountains. Of course, she couldn't wait 6-8 weeks and so she used magic to get it all. Leo is still spread out on the couch, where Phoebe goes after him until Piper pulls her 'slutty hands off her husband'. They start to fight a bit until Prue comes in to break it up. But evidently everyone but Prue is overcome by their sins. At the stationhouse, Lucas directs the cop to go after the Halliwells to find out where the pastor is. At the manor, Prue is going through the Book of Shadows, Piper is getting a foot massage and Phoebe is getting premonitions of 'officer cutie'. Prue is annoyed and says she'll do it all herself. Piper almost kills herself with an electrical shock and Phoebe almost gets killed falling out a window lusting after the officer who has showed up at their door. He comes in and demands to know where the pastor is. He attacks them and Prue and Phoebe are knocked out hurt as all of Piper's stuff comes crashing down around them. The cop then tries to kill himself, but Prue stops him. However Lucas shows up before she can help her sisters and takes her away. As injured Piper slowly recovers and crawls her way up the stairs, obviously injured. She is calling for Leo and begging him to wake up from where he is lazily asleep on the bed. Hearing her, he wakes up and runs to her. He suddenly glows and the evil sin that infected him is thrown from his body. He wants to heal Piper, but she begs him to go help Phoebe first and then find Prue. Suddenly, the sin of Gluttony is thrown from Piper. By being selfless they have overcome their sin. Phoebe had risked her life to save Piper and is free of her sin and is free when Leo heals her. However they still have to find Prue. Prue is tied up as Lucas gloats over her, telling her that Pride is the deadliest of all sins because it makes you think that you are invincible. Prue claims that no demon has defeated her, and that Lucas won't be the first. But Lucas says he won't defeat her, Prue will defeat herself. Lucas tries to make a deal with Prue, if she tells him where the pastor is, he will remove her sin. Lucas uses a staff to open the never ending pit of everlasting torment. Prue tricks Lucas into untying her in exchange for the pastor, but after he frees her, she jumps into the pit. Leo and the others arrive, and Leo orbs after Prue. Lucas comments, 'why did she have to have Pride, Pride is the one sin you can't beat.' Piper freezes Lucas before Leo and Prue return from the pit. Prue is still under the effect of Pride, the only way to get rid of it is to defeat Lucas. They use the sin balls against him and he falls into the pit himself. All the sins have returned to the box, which Phoebe throws in the pit after Lucas. Afterwards they find the soul of the businessman, which Leo takes to release. Afterwards, Prue grudgingly admitted that she needed Piper and Phoebe to help her out, but they don't like the humble Prue as much as the normal one. At P3, everyone is listening to Orgy and talking about their recent victory. Prue is worried because she couldn't beat Pride, but Piper says that for Pride there is no such thing as a selfish act. Phoebe says she convinced her professor that her actions earlier were part of her paper on sexual politics and that she got a B- on her paper and will graduate. As they listen to Orgy, Prue says she doesn't even want to think about sin tonight.
"The Demon Who Came in From the Cold" At P3, the sisters and Leo are trying to get to a movie, arguing over if they are going to see a foreign film or a thriller. When Piper and Leo vote together, the sisters realize that there are now four votes (The Power of Four). However, Cole arrives, and she and Phoebe decide to catch up by themselves. As they walk, they talk about how it isn't safe for Cole to be here, but he says he wants to be here. Cole wonders if there is a way to strip his powers so that he would never be tempted to use them and he could stay good. Their moment is interrupted by a seemingly crazed man warning about the brotherhood. He is suddenly attacked by a demon, whom Phoebe runs after and kills. Cole arrives on the scene at the end to witness, but when Phoebe wonders where he was, he says that Phoebe just vanquished his brother. Back at the manor, Phoebe and Cole are arguing when Piper, Prue, and Leo arrive. After explaining what happened, Leo wonders if he was talking about the Brotherhood of the Thorn. Cole explains that he was/is a member of the brotherhood, and Leo is disappointed that Cole did not tell them sooner. Leo explains that the brotherhood is an elite band of demons who report directly to the Source and are chosen directly by the Source. Cole explains that the crazy man (prophets) are sometimes seers who having magical abilities. Cole explains that the sisters can't just defeat the brotherhood with their usual kick, freeze and magical move (no offense intended). Cole decides that the only way to find out what they are up to is for him to go back to them. Though concerned that the Source will find him out, Phoebe lets him go. At a corporate office building, a few members of the brotherhood are talking. They are pleased that the prophets have been eliminated but evidently Trix is missing. In the attic, Phoebe is working on the potion to strip Cole's powers, but Cole tells her he needs to do this, as if he is trying to prove his goodness. He says he will meet her in the mausoleum in two hours. The mausoleum is the second safest place he knows, the first safest being with Phoebe. He shimmers away. At the corporate building, all of the demons are surprised when Cole comes walking in through the front door. He says he came to help, but Vornak, the ringleader wonders what he could possibly do that would save his traitorous head. Cole respond by throwing the head of the dead prophet down in front of Vornak. Cole says that with the one member dead, the prophets talking, and Cole having no problem finding them, the Brotherhood is getting sloppy. Vornak wants to know why he should believe Cole. Cole asks "Why? Because I killed the tried?" Cole says the Triad was plotting the kill the Source and take over. They were going to kill everyone in the Source's inner circle, including Reinar, who appears to be the leader of the Brotherhood. Cole said he ran because he had no proof. Vornak sends a demon to check his story. At the manor, they are worried about Phoebe. It has been three hours since Cole left. Leo, Piper, and Prue are trying to figure out what the brotherhood is after. Evidently the company the Brotherhood is working in is trying to help a merger of two large companies, but one of the company's CEO's got cold feet and backed off. They guess the Brotherhood wants the merger to go through. Leo orbs to the mausoleum to meet Phoebe. Phoebe wonders why Cole is doing this, saying he doesn't have to prove to her that he is good. Cole shimmers in and tells Phoebe that they are after someone and where they are going to be and when, but that is all he can tell them. Leo says it is probably the CEO of the company. Cole is worried that if they save Pirelli they might suspect he had something to do with it. Leo says the can't sacrifice Perelli, but Cole said, "but you'd sacrifice me." Back at the brotherhood, Vornak decides that Cole will throw the energy ball to kill the man. Cole says it is fine with him. The sisters have a plan. By freezing everything and moving Pirelli everything will appear as normal without everyone figuring out that Perelli escaped. A Limo pulls out of a building, but the demons quickly block it. Cole hesitates for a moment, but then he throws a powerful energy ball at the limo, but Piper and the others arrive and freeze the scene. After removing Pirelli, time resumes and the limo blows up. Vornak order the body recovered, he doesn't want a trace left because, as he reveals, he is going to take Perelli's place. He shimmers and takes on Pirelli's form and goes with the guards that show up. However, the demon that went to recover Pirelli's body returns and says the body wasn't there, glancing suspiciously at Cole. At the manor, Leo says Perelli is sleeping in the basement. On the news they see Pirelli talking about how he has decided to support the merger and now someone has tried to kill him. They wonder if Cole has told them everything. They talk, worried that they aren't sure what Cole is up to. Piper seems extremely skeptical though, voicing her concern that Cole may have gone over to the other side. Prue says she has a back up plan though, and goes to the freezer to get the piece of Belthezar flesh. She says that since the Brotherhood has sworn a blood oath that the potion that vanquishes one should vanquish all. Meanwhile, the Brotherhood is trying to figure out what happened. They guess that someone intervened, magically. Vornak is worried. He relays the rumor that while Belthezar was on the run, he fell in love with a witch. Belthezar says that the rumors are true: he loved a witch. He says that his human half loved the witch; however, he says that was a mistake. He says that the sister he bedded has a sister that can freeze time, and they probably have Pirelli. He shimmers to the manor. Vornak orders him followed. At the mausoleum, the demon witnesses Phoebe and Cole talking. Cole is cold and mean to Phoebe, telling her to stay out of everything and to just go home. Back at the manor, Phoebe explains everything to her sisters, but suddenly a trio of men shimmer in and attack them. They defeat them, but while they were distracted Cole and another demon shimmer in and take Pirelli from the Manor. After debating a bit about whether or not Cole is good. The sisters try to get back to their original plan of killing the demon that took Pirelli's place. Vornak is angry because he lost some of his best demons. Cole says the plan was to get Pirelli, which he did. Vornak wants Pirelli, but Cole says he will hold onto him until he knows that Vornak will not kill him. Vornak starts to leave for the merger vote, but Cole stops him, saying he knows these witches and they will do whatever it takes to stop Vornak. He also tells Vornak they have the potion to do it. Vornak wonders if they would kill Cole however. The sisters arrive at the meeting, only to find Cole sitting in the chair. Cole says he was sent instead, and although the sisters mix words with him, wondering whose side he is on, saying that they weren't working together, Cole says Pirelli is in the safest place he knows. Phoebe looks skeptical and says, 'The Mausoleum'. Cole says "Yes, isn't that what we agreed to?" At this, Phoebe steps forward and throws the potion to vanquish him. As Cole changes form and is revealed as Vornak, Phoebe explains that the safest place Cole knows is with her. At the end, Cole shimmers in. He says he knows he isn't popular right now. He says everyone was against him and that he had to make everyone believe that he was against them. Cole says he has to go back and cover his tracks, he doesn't want those guys hunting him down. However unbeknown to them, a demon was watching them and leaves to report. At the Brotherhood, Cole explains what he saw to his old demon friend. However as Cole goes to leave, saying that he still has to find proof of the Triad's treachery to clear his name with the Source. However, as Cole goes to leave, the demon that had spied on him earlier and Reinar return. Reinar hits Cole with an energy ball, knocking him out. At P3, they sisters are celebrating Phoebe's graduation. However, Cole hasn't returned and Phoebe is worried about him. He says that proving he was good came, but at what costs. Phoebe is on the verge of crying, saying that for just once she wants to be able to say, 'This, magic doesn't screw with, this I get to keep.' They all wonder what happened to Cole.
"Exit Strategy" Prue descends the steps into the mausoleum to find Phoebe crouched against a tomb asleep. Prue tries to get Phoebe to go home with her, but Phoebe says she has to wait for Cole. Prue says he probably hasn't found a safe way out, but Phoebe says it has been over a week and that he was only supposed to go under to prevent them from finding him. Prue tries to console Phoebe, saying that Cole can take care of himself. "You don't make demon of the century without having a few tricks up your sleeve," she says. However, in a dark cavern somewhere, Reinar and Tarkin are observing a prone Cole. His palm waves over Cole's hand and a magical energy passes through Cole's head. Reinar says Belthezar is sick, the kind of sickness that only comes with being in the world of light too long. Reinar says his human half has been infected, he has fallen in love with one of the charmed ones. Tarkin suggests killing him, but Reinar says that Belthezar has acquired the knowledge of how to kill the charmed ones, something that no other demon has been able to accomplish. Reinar says they must bring him back by destroying the only thing keeping him good: the witch's love for him. At the manor, Piper and Leo are talking about their honeymoon in Paris. Piper says she has to get Leo a passport first, but Leo says he can just orb them there. Piper, however wants to go over like every other newly wed couple. Piper produces Leo's old birth certificate, but Leo says he was born in 1924. However, Piper quickly doctors the certificate to read that he was born in 1974, which makes him 27 and younger than her. As she ponders changing another number to fix that, Leo says this is illegal. Piper smiles, and says that while it may be illegal, so is marrying a dead guy. She flashes Leo's Death Certificate. Prue comes in and tells everyone about finding Phoebe. Prue is mad at Cole for not contacting them to let them know he hasn't been caught. Piper comments that maybe he already has been caught. Underground, Reinar revives Belthezar. Reinar says he tried to kill Belthezar because he didn't recognize him in his human form. Reinar says it doesn't matter if he strays, only that he comes back. Reinar gives Belthezar an assignment, to get an amulet from the neck of a witch. Belthezar leaves, and Reinar tells Tarkin that he is going to report to his witch, and that will put the first seeds of doubt in her mind. At the manor Cole shimmers in to Phoebe's room and they kiss before Cole explains that he has been given an assignment and tells her what it is. Cole says he doesn't want to do this, but he has to. He just has to buy some time. Phoebe says she and Prue will come with him to watch his back, but Cole says they can't do that, they may be after them. He asks her to trust him and shimmers as Phoebe kisses him. Phoebe finds Prue and the two of them go off to scrye for a witch. Cole shimmers in to confront the witch. He says if she puts the amulet down he won't have to hurt her. She says she has sworn to protect it, but he claims he was ordered to protect it. As Cole reaches for the amulet, it throws him back. She tells Cole that he can't take it from her. Cole says, "maybe I can't" and shifts into Belthezar, "But I can," he finishes. Belthezar forces his way past the amulets defenses and rips it from the witch's neck. He start to strangle her but stops and shimmers away. Piper and Leo are trying to get a passport, attracting attention as Leo tries to convince her not to do this. Piper is getting annoyed and claims she has a migraine. Suddenly Leo gets a call from 'Them'. Suddenly, Piper forces a clock on the wall to explode, everyone around them ducks as it shatters. Reinar shimmers in to meet the witch who had the amulet. He says that Belthezar has gone soft, but Belthezar will be blamed for her death and throws and energy ball at the witch, which incinerates her. Later, Prue and Phoebe arrive and find the scorch marks and presume she is dead. They get worried it might have been Cole, but they don't believe it. Phoebe says maybe Cole was framed. Leo orbs in to explain that a powerful amulet has been stolen. They fill him in on what they know. Leo says the Brotherhood is trying to get the amulet to destroy it, evil can't use it. Tarkin and Cole are waiting on Reinar. Reinar tells Cole he killed the witch. Cole says Reinar didn't order him to kill the witch, just to get the amulet. Reinar says some things go without saying. Reinar tells Belthezar where the other amulet is and Belthezar shimmers out. Tarkin is worried, but Reinar summons a small glowing orb and claims that he has insurance. At the manor Prue, Leo, and Phoebe are talking about what to do next when the hear an explosion from the nearby room. Turns out that Piper exploded a watermelon accidentally. Piper accidentally explodes more of the kitchen and is very upset because she can't control it. Cole shows up and claims he didn't kill the witch. Phoebe says the believe him but Cole wants to know how close the potion to strip his powers is to being ready. Cole says that Reinar is just waiting for him to slip so he can pull him back in. He says that they have to beat him to the next witch and stop him, or Reinar will. Under the moonlight, the witch is leading her coven as Cole and Tarkin watch. Tarkin says that Belthezar trusted no on. No allegiances, no conscious, no hesitation. That was what made him so great. Cole goes to get the amulet, but as he is forcing his way past its powerful shield, the sisters arrive. Piper starts to freeze him, but realize she might blow him up. Prue then hurls Belthezar away from the witch. The two fight the Charmed Ones, but between the power of the amulet, Piper's explosions, and Prue throwing them right and left, Tarkin and Belthezar are forced to retreat. At the manor, the sisters explain to the witch as the call out for Leo (whom they say is their White Lighter, and their brother-in-law). Phoebe is hurt, but she says it isn't a big deal. Piper says it is a huge deal because Cole tried to kill her (they say Cole is the demon, and Phoebe's boyfriend). They have complicated lives. The Witch is just thrilled to meet them, she has of course heard of the Charmed Ones. Phoebe says Cole didn't try to kill her, he knew the amulet would protect them. As Jinna (the witch) and Piper work on the potion to strip Belthezar powers, Phoebe goes to the mausoleum to get Cole. At the Brotherhood, Cole and Tarkin explains what happened to Reinar, who is surprised Belthezar gave up so easily and let mere witches stop him. Cole tells Reinar to drop the pretense. He claims that Reinar isn't interested in the amulet, only in turning him against Phoebe. Cole says he isn't going to kill for him anymore, but Reinar hold up the glowing orb from earlier and says, 'not even for your father's soul?'. Reinar says the Source promised to free the soul if he fulfilled his end of the bargain. Then they can both go free. Reinar says the only thing separating Belthezar from them is a few drops of innocent blood. At the mausoleum Cole finds Phoebe waiting for him. He wasn't sure if Phoebe would be there after what he tried to do, but Phoebe says it was no big deal. It wasn't the first time he's tried to kill her. Cole is having trouble maintaining his human form and Phoebe says they have to hurry. Prue, Jinna, and Piper are finishing up the potion. Piper is worried that Leo hasn't returned yet, thinking that it means her powers are shorted for good. Leo then appears and tells Piper that he powers aren't messed up, they have advanced. Piper's powers work by slowing down molecules, now she has the power to speed them up. Prue says Piper's new power may be useful since, in the Book of Shadows, there is a spell needed to unit the amulet, so the Brotherhood is going to have to come for it. Cole and Phoebe return, Cole looks very bad. As Piper and Prue go to get ice to cool the potion, Tarkin shimmers in and attacks. Piper tries to freeze him, but instead explodes a piece of furniture. Prue fights Tarkin, but when Piper tries again to freeze him she explodes another piece of furniture, which falls on top of Prue, knocking her out. Finally, as Tarkin prepares to hurl another energy ball at her, she waves her hand at him, and Tarkin explodes from the inside out. In the attic, the potion is ready. However, Reinar shimmer in and fires an energy ball at Leo, knocking him out. Although the amulet protect Jinna from Reinar's energy ball, it forces her back into the wall and knocks her out. Reinar tempts Belthezar, telling him he is a demon and to embrace that fact. Let evil make you strong again, he claims. Belthezar tries to resist, but the rage in him is building. Reinar says of the witch, "Is she really worth sacrificing your father's soul for". As Phoebe watches, Cole howls and turns into Belthezar before throwing an energy ball to incinerate Jinna. The sisters confront Cole. Phoebe says she saw what Cole did. Cole says he didn't have a choice, but Phoebe says there always is a choice. Cole reaches for the potion to strip his powers, but Phoebe grabs it, saying it is already too late, he killed an innocent woman and he can't come back from that. Phoebe wonders if Cole was after the amulet all along, that because after they stripped his powers and united the amulet he would have been able to use it only if he wasn't evil. Cole is holding his hands to his head, trying to recover. He begs Phoebe to believe her, and tells the others to stay out of this, it is between Phoebe and Cole. But Phoebe says there is nothing between them. Cole begs Phoebe to save him, but she tells him to save himself and throws the potion against the ground, shattering it. Cole shimmers away. The next morning as Piper and Prue clean up, Prue says that Piper will learn control. Piper does admit that blowing up Tarkin was kinda cool, but wishes she could have done more. Piper comments that loosing three innocents and just killing one bad guy isn't a winning score. Phoebe comes in with three candles, thinking they could do a blessing for their two fallen witches and Cole. As Phoebe lights her candle, she says, 'For Cole, a lost love, may you find peace.' Leo comes in with the news that he got a passport. He wanted to make Piper happy and try and give her a somewhat normal life. However, in the cavern, Cole confronts Reinar and gets his father's soul. Reinar tries to welcome Belthezar back, claiming that he's evil again. Cole wants to know how Reinar did it. Reinar says it wasn't important, but says, 'didn't killing the witch feel good?'. Cole replies, 'not as good as this' and stabs Reinar in the chest. He accuses Reinar of stealing Phoebe's love for him and for that he is going to watch Reinar die. But in the end Reinar has won as Cole's inner demonic self revels in killing Reinar. Reinar welcome Belthezar home even as the flames engulf him.
"Look Who's Barking" Phoebe is writing in the book of Shadows about Belthezar. She includes pictures of Cole and indications that this is Belthezar human form. Prue comes in from her date, annoyed with the fact that she can't find a guy worth dating. Phoebe says she is trying to prepare future generations for Belthezar. Suddenly an explosion rocks the house. Piper was in the basement and evidently had managed to blow up the Christmas decorations. While Prue and Phoebe try to convince Piper to come out of the basement, they hear dogs barking and kit runs through the house scared. Nearby, an old man cries over pictures of a woman when all of the glass in the house suddenly vibrates and shatters. A Banshee comes flying through the window and screams at the man, who grabs at his head as blood begins to pour from his face. The next morning, Phoebe is still writing in the Book of Shadows about Belthezar demonic self. Meanwhile, Piper has locked herself in her room because of her inability to control her new power. Reading the morning paper, Prue sees that a number of people complained about the dogs barking the night before and that a man was killed at the same time. As Prue relates the details, Phoebe says that she won't be distracted when she suddenly gets a premonition of a young girl in a phone booth and glass shattering all around her. Phoebe says a demon was responsible and she prepares to summon Belthezar (turning over the dining room table as a protective barrier) so they can vanquish him. Phoebe believes that Cole was responsible because she was touching the Belthezar page when she got the premonition. Phoebe is dead set on summoning Belthezar even though Prue says she isn't sure it was him. Surrounded by candles in a cave Cole, dressed in black robes, is chanting as in some dark ceremony when he begins to feel the power of the sister's summons. Cole fights the spell and manages to keep himself from being summoned. Prue and Phoebe wonder why it didn't work, but determine that their first step should be to find the girl in Phoebe's premonition. In her bedroom, Piper is trying to meditate, listening to some guru on tape. Leo orbs in and surprises her, but Piper is too surprise and she blows up the stereo system. Piper tells Leo to get away since she is a lethal weapon. Piper tells Leo she feels so helpless, but Leo says she is anything but helpless, she is one of the strongest, most capable people he has ever known. At the man who was killed apartment, Phoebe and Prue talk to a detective who is working on the case. He questions them about who they are, wondering if they were the psychics everyone heard was working with inspector Morris. They find a picture of the man's wife, whom they are told died a short while ago and he never really got over it. The detective tells them that whoever killed the man busted through a window on the third story of the building. The detective continues to wonder who they are: feds, arson, etc. Phoebe snaps and says, 'We are witches, and actually we think a demon did this, probably my ex-boyfriend, and if he did do this we have to find him and vanquish him.' The detective leaves, very skeptical of what they said. Cole is talking to a dark sorcerer, saying he wants his help in severing all ties and restoring his demonic self. The sorcerer says he can transmute his blood, which might protect him from the vanquishing potion, but he can't save Cole from the pull of human emotion. At the manor, Phoebe and Prue are looking over the Book of Shadows as they wonder who killed the man. Phoebe says that her premonitions are always directly tied to what she is touching, but when Prue flips the page to the back, they see a page talking about the Banshee. Leo and Piper come downstairs, and they learn about the Banshee. The Banshee hunts for her victims with a high pitched sound, beyond the range of human hearing. They center in on the victim's cries of sorrow and feed off of that pain. They wonder what to do, when they see a spell to track the banshee. Prue becomes the voluntary tracker and they cast the spell. However, the spell didn't work as they expect: it turns Prue into a dog. Prue is less than thrilled and hides under the bed until Phoebe tells Prue that she has to help them save the innocent. Leo says the dog can probably help them track the banshee and they go off to try and save the teenage girl. When Phoebe says she is such a pretty dog, Piper comments, 'What else did you expect' very sarcastically. Leo says, 'A Doberman' and Prue growls at him. As Phoebe and Piper talk about how to kill the demon, Prue has gone off and is chasing Kit all over the house, knocking things over throughout the house. As Leo goes off to check with the elders, Prue wants to go outside and the sisters follow. As Phoebe and Piper argue over who has to clean up after Prue, other dogs start to bark and Prue hears the banshee. The teenager in Phoebe's premonition is talking to her parents about how sad she is and how she never should have run away when the banshee shows up and screams at her. Prue attacks the banshee while Piper and Phoebe get the girl, but the banshee attacks them all, throwing Piper against a wall and screaming at them. Piper tries to blow the banshee up, but misses and blows up a dumpster. The Banshee runs off with Prue following her. However, as the banshee runs across the street, Prue is hit by a car. Prue and Piper are back home trying to figure out what to do, they have seemingly lost Prue. Piper tells Phoebe that the banshee zeroed in on Phoebe, evidently the Banshee thought that Phoebe was in great pain, but Phoebe dismisses it. Piper says, 'Phoebe, you are not the first Halliwell to fall in love with a demon and get burned." Though Piper tries to help Phoebe, Phoebe dismisses it and goes to get the Book of Shadows. Up in the attic however, Phoebe is overcome with grief and sits down, crying over the page with Cole on it. Downstairs, Leo comes back and tells Piper that Banshees are former witches, and that a Banshee's scream doesn't kill witches, it turns them into Banshee. Upstairs, glass starts to shake slowly, and then it shatters as the Banshee gets closer and comes busting through the windows. It screams at Phoebe, who is transformed into a Banshee. Piper arrives and the Banshee starts to attack her, but Piper waves her hand and the Banshee explodes. Phoebe the Banshee howls and jumps out the window. Piper is loosing it, but Leo tries to get her to relax (which causes her to blow up a sewing machine). Piper says that Prue and Phoebe are the super witches, she just tags along and freezes things. Leo tries to tell her she can do it. They have to get Phoebe back before she kills even one innocent or she'll be a Banshee forever. Leo tells Piper to trust her instinct and Piper gets an idea. Elsewhere, Prue recovers in a man's house. The man is evidently a writer who has a fondness for animals. He pets Prue and holds her in his lap. Phoebe meanwhile is trying to track down an innocent. She stalks one girl who looks lonely and scared, but the girl's boyfriend shows up and she is happy, no longer a candidate for a victim. Prue hears Phoebe's scream as she is drinking some imported beer from the man. She wants to go out and the man let's her out. At the manor, Leo is trying to convince Piper not to summon Cole. Piper has the vanquishing potion, but Leo is concerned Cole will be too fast. Piper tells Leo he has nothing to fear since he is already dead, but Leo doesn't want Piper to join him. Piper says that feelings like they had just don't go away and casts the spell. Cole appears, saying that Piper wasn't the sister he was expecting. Piper tells Cole that Phoebe has been turned into a Banshee because Phoebe was hurting over Cole. Cole said his feelings died when Phoebe gave up on him. Cole says it is over, and Piper agrees and throws the potion. But the potion didn't work. Prue comes in barking at Cole (who doesn't understand when the call the dog Prue) and suddenly all the glass in the house starts to vibrate. Cole looks around and is attacked by Banshee Phoebe, which turns him into Belthezar. The two shimmer away. Piper is trying to decide what to do when Prue barks at them and leads them towards Phoebe. At the mausoleum, Belthezar and Phoebe are fighting fiercely, throwing each other against walls and screaming at each other and strangling each other. Belthezar begs Phoebe not to make him kill her. He turns into Cole and admits that he loves her, to which Phoebe screams. Phoebe reverts from being a Banshee, and Prue who was running as a dog towards the mausoleum turns back to normal as well (Prue is hurt in her hip where the car hit her though). Phoebe tells Cole to stay away. But Cole says Phoebe isn't the only one that is hurting. He said he tried everything to break his feelings for her but that didn't work. He says it doesn't change anything, it doesn't change the fact that he killed a witch. He says that he killed the witch because Reinar had cast a spell, Reinar wanted to return him to evil and by destroying Phoebe's love Belthezar would be free of the one thing holding him back. Cole says it is a pain they will both have to live with and shimmers away. Leo can sense Phoebe and goes to her after telling Piper her plan worked. Piper grabs at Prue, telling Prue that she has fleas. Prue tries to tell Piper how hard it was to be a dog, including how she met a guy. At P3, the sisters are listening to the Corrs. Phoebe tells Piper to raise the drink prices since they just got the bill for the repairs to all the windows in their house. She comments that they really keep that guy in business. Prue was waiting for the guy that hit her when she was a dog and they go off. Piper and Phoebe talk, with Phoebe thanking Piper for what she did summoning Cole and all. Phoebe admits that she think she made a mistake giving up on Cole, saying that since Cole loves her there is still good in him and that she says she can bring him back, she knows she can.
"When Hell Breaks Loose" Prue, Piper, and Phoebe rush into the manor with a man in a doctor's coat, obviously running from some evil thanks to a premonition from Phoebe. The sisters talk about a demon being after the doctor, who is obviously confused about what is going on. Phoebe goes to check in the Book of Shadows for a vanquishing spell, leaving Prue and Piper with the Doctor. As Phoebe leaves, Piper tells Phoebe not to get distracted with the Cole potion, which Prue demands to know about. Piper tells Prue that Phoebe believes the only reason Cole turned evil again was because a demon cast a spell on him and Phoebe now wants to reverse that spell. Evidently Shax, the Source's assassin, is after the Doctor. Suddenly Prue feels a Chill, but Shax comes into the house in a whirlwind. He goes to kill the doctor, but Prue pushes him out of the way, taking the energy blast and being hurtled through the wall. Shax then turns on Piper and blasts her. As the doctor asks the demon, 'what are you', it replies, 'The End' as Phoebe comes down and casts the vanquishing spell, which seems to hurt the demon and drives him from the house. Phoebe runs to her two sisters, who are badly hurt and out cold. She calls for Leo, who heals them both, telling them that they almost died. Phoebe tells them she drove Shax off, and Prue wants to go after him to finish him off while he is still hurt and she and Piper run out into the street after the assassin. They find him outside and he attacks them. Prue deflects his energy and Piper uses her new power at him. Shax disappears in a puff of blue smoke. As they wonder if he is dead, they comment that they were lucky no one saw them and head back to the manor. As they walk back, a reporter tells a camera man to come back to her. Through the camera, the reporter announces that she doesn't know what that was, but that 'you saw it here, live'. The sisters explain to the doctor that he has to keep their secret, and he agrees not to tell anyone about what he saw today. Prue says that if everyone knew they wouldn't be able to help everyone like they do. Prue is still bothered about how they vanquished Shax, Piper wants to believe they did, commenting that this is the third demon in a row she has vanquished with her new power (but who is counting). Prue asks Leo to go check with the Elders just to be sure. Phoebe says she wants to try a new potion on Cole, one that will reverse the spell that made him evil on the first time. She says if dark magic did this to him, white magic should be able to get him back. She wants her sisters to use the spell to call Cole to send her down to him. Piper and Prue say she is banking on allot, that if she does this, she will be out of touch, but she says she is banking on Cole. In his underground cave, Cole is sleeping around a bunch of lit candles when Phoebe arrives. Phoebe wakes him up and demands to know what she is doing here. When she says she came to bring him back, he grabs her by the throat and says she made a big mistake. Meanwhile, back in the real world, a bunch of executives and reporters are gathered around to watch the tape taken earlier. The manager thinks it may be a publicity stunt, but orders the reporter to check it out, so that they can send it to the network feed if it is true, but tells her to be careful, they might not want to be found. The reporter says that two hundred thousand viewers saw it live. Prue and Piper are in the street where they vanquished Shax, Prue is still not believing they vanquished Shax. She says she has had a bad feeling about it all day and that since becoming a witch she has learned to trust her feelings. As they walk home, a girl watches them until her mother comes in and ushers her inside, telling her to 'stay away from them'. At the police station, Morris has just brought someone in when his captain comes up to him and tells him that it looks like all those rumors about him and the Halliwells might have been true. As Morris wonders what he means he see the footage caught on tape in the background. At the manor, Prue is trying to get in touch with the doctor, who is in surgery where Shax won't get him. Morris calls and tries to tell them what has happened. Suddenly they see the TV and the footage of them destroying Shax. The TV station goes live to the reporter, who is in front of the manor. The reporter says that everyone is getting ready to meet Prue, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell live. The sisters wonder what they are going to do. Morris arrives at the manor to find the the street near the house full of reporters and spectators wanting to know if he is there to arrest them. A young blond woman accosts him, saying she knows what they are, they are like her, witches. As he tells Prue to open the door, the original reporter asks him a question, but Morris says, 'No Comment'. Inside, Morris says he called for backup but that it is just going to get worse. Prue is still more concerned about Shax, Piper is worried about what is going on outside but Morris tells her that his Captain wants her brought in for questioning. Prue comments that maybe when Phoebe is finished saving Cole she can come back and save them. Leo orbs in and tells them he has been trying to figure out how to get them out of this mess. Evidently it is pretty big news 'up there'. He says They are still working on it and Piper says to tell Them to take their time. When he comments that They weren't the ones that screwed up, Piper says that she and her sisters have been busting their Wiccan butts for three years without getting caught and wants some credit for that. Prue mentions that this year has been a series of test and that this is probably just one more test. Leo comments that Prue is right however, they did not vanquish Shax, it requires the Power of Three. When Prue asks Leo to orb them to the hospital, he says he can't. The Elders do not want White Lighters exposed (which elicits Piper's comment of 'Cowards'). Outside, the sisters make a run to their car and drive off (with the blond woman from earlier trying desperately to get their attention). Back in the underworld, Phoebe and Cole are fighting. Cole says Phoebe can't have him, but Phoebe says she wants to reverse what did this to him, and that although he killed a witch he didn't do it willingly, which gives him a second chance. As Cole threatens her, she slams a potion against his back and afterwards he grabs her in a deep embrace and kisses her. She says it is time to leave, but Cole says he can't just leave, they won't just let him go. Cole says they tried it up there and that it didn't work. They wonder what to do next. At the hospital, the sisters find the doctor and rush him out. However Sax arrives again to kill the doctor (in broad daylight. Prue and Piper use the spell to vanquish Shax, who explodes in flame and is vanquished. However, the reporter from earlier has tracked them to the hospital and caught the whole vanquish on tape. The area outside the manor has turned into a circus, with helicopters, reporters, and spectators. The blond woman from earlier is standing on a TV van saying that she is the only one who understands and that she can help. Meanwhile inside the sisters are looking at a ton of faxes inviting them for interviews (Ted Copple, Time Magazine, Jerry Springer, Sports Illustrated (Swim Suite edition comments Morris). On TV, they see the doctor they saved reciting what happened to him earlier when the saved him. They also saw Suzie Johnson from the tenth grade who was claiming Prue cast a spell on her boyfriend to make them break up. Leo orbs in and Prue demands that it has to end. The Elders only have one suggestion, and it is a long shot. They have to try and contact Tempus. Evidently, he is the only one on either side who has the power to manipulate time. However Tempus is an upper level demon and they can't contact him. Suddenly the young woman who has been trying to talk to the sisters bursts through the door and claims she is Alice Hicks and she wants to join their coven. Frustrated, Prue uses her power to throw Alice out of their house. As Alice is asked by reporters what happens, she is obviously upset. Choking back tears she says they are mean witches and runs off. Prue says that the only way to contact Tempus is through Cole. She asks Leo to orb down there, but he says that while he is gone, he will not be able to hear them if they need him. As he leaves, Piper tries to decide to go with Opera or Barbara (Opera since Barbara makes Prue cry). Down below, Cole comes in and tells Phoebe he has to get her out of here. He says something is going on, something big that makes it too dangerous for her to stick around. She wonders what has happened. Cole says he doesn't know but that whatever it is it is important enough for the Source himself to have come. Phoebe is shocked that the Source is here, but as she wonders what to do, Leo arrives. Cole is surprised and asks Leo if he is out of his mind. Leo tells them they have been exposed as witches and the whole world knows. He says that to get them out of it requires Cole's help and explains his plan. Cole says he couldn't summon Tempus if he wanted to, he doesn't have that type of power. Phoebe reminds him that he knows someone who does: The Source. Leo says that the demonic world has been exposed as well, which is probably why the Source is there in the first place. Resetting time saves everyone and Leo tells Cole to pitch it as if he is doing it to save the Source. Cole approaches the Source, who appears as a large, winged man dressed in crimson robes with a cowl that hides his face and features in shadows. Cole begs his lord to tell him the truth and the Source confirms what has happened. Cole says he has an idea, to have Tempus reset time. But the Source says that Tempus is still weak from the last time he reset time and that to do so again would destroy him. Cole asks what other choice they have. The Source lays a sword against Cole and tells him he knows of his struggles and of his witch. The Source knows everything about him. He says that he will have Tempus do as he asks if Phoebe crosses over and joins them. Cole says she would never do that. However, the Source wonders if she wouldn't do it even to save one of her sister's lives. Cole is stunned and asks if one of them is being killed. The Source tells him to wait. In the real world, Piper and Prue are trying to think of what to do if the plan doesn't work. Piper says they are going to do book signings, interviews, and movie deals before being taken and dissected by the CIA. Prue wonders how she can joke, saying that she is scared. She says that one stupid mistake has threatened to wipe out everything they have done and their entire destiny just like that. A gunshot rings out. Piper winces and they both look down to see a large wand in Piper's gut. Outside, Alice is standing on her van holding a rifle, saying that she killed the wicked witch. As she is dragged away by Morris, Piper is shaking as she dies. Prue calls for Leo, who can not hear them. As Prue tries to get Piper to the car and to the hospital, the throngs of people around the house get in her way. Frustrated and disheartened she blows her horn at them, but they won't move. Calling for Leo, she feels the weight of everything that has happened to them fall down upon her. Suddenly Prue lashes out and uses her power to throw the people out of her way so that she can drive to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctors try to revive Piper. She is obviously badly hurt having lost allot of blood and is shaking as she has gone into shock and is cold. Prue stays by her, grasping her bloody hand and telling her not to die. Piper looks at Prue and says, 'I love you' as her heart stops and the doctors try to shock her back to life. In the end, Piper lays dead as Prue can't contain her emotion and tells everyone to get out as the emotion of everything that has happend comes down on her. As they all leave, a man in a SWAT outfit watches her. In Cole's lair, Cole returns and tells Phoebe the Source's offer. He tells her that the Sources knows about everything. Leo says they are desperate, but not that desperate. Cole tells her that it is the only way to bring one of her sisters back to life. Leo thinks it is a trick, but Cole says it is not. At the hospital, a SWAT team moves in on Prue, who is still holding Piper's dead hand. As they burst in on her, she uses her power to throw them out and then bars the door and turn off the lights. Leo orbs in and Prue tells him that they killed her. Leo is stricken and wonders how all of this can be happening as he kisses Piper's forehead. Prue wants to know if he can make this right or not and he nods as she tells him to go. Prue tells Piper that everything will be alright. Leo returns to Cole and Phoebe, and by the look on Leo's face Phoebe knows that it is Piper who is dead. Leo tells Phoebe that she doesn't have to do this, but she says she does. She asks Cole if resetting time affects her down here and she says it won't. Phoebe says she has only one condition. Cole must warn Piper and Prue before the Demonic Hitman attacks or they are dead anyway. The Source agrees to the deal, but after Cole leaves, the Source orders one of his underlings to follow Cole. After time is reset the servant is to detain Cole and then kill his witch. This way, the Source will not have to worry about Belthezar anymore....or the Charmed Ones. At the hospital, the SWAT team is prepared to take out Prue by shooting at her through the wall while using a scope that sees infrared. As the bullet prepares to strike Prue, the Source resets time to right before Shax attacks the doctor in the manor. Prue feels a chill again as Shax comes in. Everything happens as before, but this time when Shax defeats Prue and Piper no one shows up to drive Shax away and save the Doctor. Shax claims that he is 'The End' and kills the doctor. No one shows up to revive Prue and Piper, who are badly injured. Shax leaves the house, shattering the panes in the front door and leaving the two sisters dead or dying and Phoebe in the underworld.
